Dating 1 month. When he texts he is busy he will call later but doesn’t - just sends a sweet text to check - in is he testing to see if I’ll ask for a call or should I be happy he even checked in? 🥹

As far as I know, men's way of thinking isn't as complicated, unless you are dealing with a manipulator. I don't like this kind of behavior. If somebody says that they're going to do something but they don't and it happens more than once, it shows me that I can't I can't put faith in their words. Especially when we're talking about people being close. It is disrespectful and not very manly of him. Don't justify those things because it's those little details that we tend to ignore that show us who someone really is at the beginning of the relationship. You are worthy, you deserve all the love and attention, not the scraps of it.

He's not testing you; he's just telling what he thinks you want to hear. You should tell him "Look, if you aren't going to call, don't promise that you will. Just tell me how you really feel. I would rather that you make a promise you can keep than tell me what you think I want to hear at the moment."

i guess its possible but i dont believe many men play games in the beginning, if they are gonna test a woman its most likely gonna be after a few dates but I don't know tbh

No, we don’t test usually. We do pay attention though. Just because we aren’t fishing for certain reactions to situations like women, we notice how you react to everything.
