I need advice on this one?

Ok so my boyfriend of 6 months has been going through a lot lately, especially on the emotional front. Plus he is going away for a while to a dangerous place, and I know it's really weighing on him. About 3 weeks ago, he stopped saying "I love you" to me, now if I tell him I love him he will tell me that he loves me too. And his actions show that he does care still. I just don't know if he really loves me, and I don't want to put more stress on him by berating him with do you love me questions especially since he is leaving very very soon. I really need some advice

Well for one if he’s going to a dangerous place, as much as you want to know if he loves you or not right now isn’t a good time. You could try talking to him, but if he’s in the military going somewhere hostile w that mindset is dangerous. You want him to be completely focused on where he’s at, why he’s there, his mission, etc. You don’t want him getting himself killed or his friends killed if his mind is back home w you. I spent 10 years in the service, never a hood thing when a man’s family back home isn’t ok or there’s relationship problems. Maybe try talking to him. Hard to say to be honest. Because regardless right now something is going on in his mind that’s throwing him off balance. Is this his first time going to a hostile environment?

Is he in the military, about to be deployed? Kind of sounds like it. If he is, two things are on his mind. First, long distance relationships are difficult. Second, being in a "dangerous place" means he might not come back. He may think he's trying to spare your feelings, which won't work, but he doesn't know that. If he not in the military, I have no idea.

I think it's just too much stress for him, his mind is occupied with the upcoming events. We tend to overthink as women. I think that, in this particular situation, there is no reason to worry. Remember, actions speak louder than words.

I think you will get an answer when he goes on travel. If he stays in touch regularly, then Id say he still loves you.
