How do I know if my boss likes me?

So far I caught him starring at me a few times. He is smiling when we talk. Sometimes he jokes around. He touched my arm at the end of a meeting and smiled. He stops talking with other co workers when I'm around and he is just starring for a while. He complimented my clothes. He also shaked my hand at the end of a meeting and said I'm the best. Is he into me or not. I'm terrible on reading signs.

If your boss is taking advantage of his position to try and start a relationship with you, he's not the kind of person you want to start a relationship with. And even if you did, he's the kind of person that would do it again. With someone else. Keep it professional, and save the relationships for a situation that doesn't have this kind of asymmetry. It sounds more like you are attracted/obsessed with him, he's your boss it is his job to be polite and welcoming to the newbie's and he most likely stops talking when you approach because they are discussing either you or something your not privy to yet been new.
