Now, I know that interest can change depending on the person and to ask someone is better than trying to assume, but I am just getting people's opinions on whether there could be something of a connection between a male coworker and myself (which can sometimes be hard to see if you are looking too closely in the situation). Because we are coworkers, I would rather hear opinions before approaching as to not ruin a work / professional relationship.
Here is what I have noticed that just seem like there is a spark:
1.) we make eye contact a lot -- sometimes I find myself looking at him and sometimes I find he is looking at me. What use to be fleeting glances or him looking away quickly has turned into more prolonged glances -- like we will look at one another and lock eyes without saying anything, and it does not feel awkward.
2.) he has offered to help me with things he does not need to help me with -- smaller, everyday things around work (he has no obligation to help me with these smaller tasks at all)
3.) We joke and laugh all the time -- whenever we work together (only once a week) we just click. There is a sense that we just get along very well together as we have a decent bit in common
4.) He mentions me to other people -- he was chatting with a mutual work friend, and they said "so and so was talking about how they had to tell you something when they see you" he has done this many times.
5.) We just happen to leave at the same time via the schedule, but he walks me towards my car -- never actually to it, but kind of out of his way (a little)
6.) He let's me touch him -- this one is, I don't know, maybe nothing. I tend to be a more touchy person --I like to connect with people via touch --hand on an arm to make a point and so on. When I am chatting with this guy, I will place my hand on his arm sometimes and he does not back away or anything.
Now, I know it may seem obviously one way or another, but I am truly at a loss for whether this guy is interested or not.
