So I met this guy about a week ago. (Keep in mind we are both very young). So anyways, I met him recently and since the first day I saw him, I had the biggest crush on him. I have only ever talked to him once. Alright, here is where the signals began. I’ll call him.. M1.

Sign one:
Usually we will be near each other or pass each other very often. I’m not sure how this happens or if it’s a coincidence, but I will quickly glance at him and look away immediately. When I look at him, (every single time,) we make clear eye contact.

Sign two: I already mentioned that we see each other a lot. A couple times during our dinner time, I will walk past M1 and his friends. One time, I looked over and M1 and his friends were all looking at me.

Sign three:

My friends and I have noticed that he will try to talk to me or begin walking up to me and then just turn around or say never mind. He seems shy but also bold at the same time.

That’s not all of the weird signals but only a few I picked out. What do they mean? Does he like me, does he not like me, or do one of his friends like me? What if he knows I like him?

Yes, he's shy. Very young guys take a while to work up to talking to you/asking you. Of course I can't be sure, but it sounds like he's interested. I think you both are very young and both very shy. Guys like when girls are brave and bold and confident. If you like him become his friend first. Best friends = lifelong partners or lifelong friends. He gets the courage to talk to you and then sees you so he gets shy and then flustered, that's why he runs away.
