Why does my boyfriend repeatedly on a lot of occasions ask me if I know who he is/who I’m with and then asks me what’s his name?

He does this a lot to me but I don’t understand why. We been together for about 7 months and When I try to ask later why does it he says he doesn’t know. Especially when we are out drinking he gets very persistent asking me over and over which confuses me

What lol? Sounds like he has some issues. The alcohol definitely could have something to do with it but you say especially while drinking which means he does it when he isn't drinking. To me it sounds like a professional needs to be involved. This isn't something I am qualified to answer. That seems like some sort of mental health thing or almost obsessive compulsive. I have no idea really. Best he talk to a doctor because that's just strange.

Next time he says it just be like "no who are you?" Its definitely odd behavior. Sounds like he's trying to intimidate you which is a red flag or he thinks to highly of himself which could also be a red flag.
