How do I respond to a male friend saying he “enjoy my time with you”?

I meet a guy at work (friend of a friend and works on a different line) and we started talking, and I’ve only meet him a few weeks ago and we only see each other at the gym and he says he enjoys his time with me and I’m not sure how to respond because I don’t want to lead him on and I want to be friends still with him.

That's a neutral statement. I think you can reciprocate with "I enjoy spending time with you too" without leading him on. Especially if you don't change your body language, like don't grab his hand or look at him without breaking eye contact for a while or something.

Just tell him you only want to be friends. If he asks you out politely decline.

I haven’t noticed a lot about his body language but he does try to always stand next or close to me.

He has made previous comments about me being cute and very pretty, but I just took those compliments and nothing else
