was this just a one off-thing for him where he was trying to be cool in front of some peers and regretted it or was this just a lifestyle choice of his but got bored afterwards?
He hung out with the wrong group of friends and ended on that side but he made the choice to stop because he has a family
Why is that a question? Of course he is dangerous Don't stay friends with him.
But I said he used to. He stopped doing all that 2 years ago. Is he still considered dangerous even if it's in the past?
whatever works for you
Would you?
Are you truly friends? What do you have in common?
We just met but he told me about his past of using drugs and getting involved with the police so I don't know if it's okay to befriend someone like that.
Doesn't answer my question
It might sound a bit simplistic but the only thing we need to have in common is enjoying the other's company. But I do agree having things in common is important. But you didn't answer my question either : (
Enjoying each other's company will work in the short term but medium to long term you're going to need more than that. You need something to keep you together and based on your history you're very different people.
Thank you for your response.. I understand now
You are right
