Hey so I’ve (22f) been talking to this guy (26m) for a couple of months now. We used to talk a lot and as expected it kinda died of since it’s long distance, but we still chatted pretty regularly and he’s the first guy I’ve ever been interested in.
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago he travelled to his home country to visit his family etc, he would still send me snaps like before but he responded less to my compliments and when I tried calling him he didn’t call back. I get that he might just be busy, but then when he sent me selfies I kinda stopped responding to them. That made him snap me more, but he didn’t write anything so I figured it didn’t really matter if I answered or not. This might be the reason he’s mad or annoyed at me. He stopped sending me snaps after that and now it’s been like two weeks so I sent him a message that said “Are you still alive?” He read it but didn’t answer. An hour or so later I wrote “Hmm. Are you not interested in taking to me anymore?” He opened that one to but didn’t respond.
So I feel like him not responding is already an answer but why hasn’t he just removed me then? Anyway my question is should I just wait a bit or is it okay to send a final message basically saying “That’s okay, it was nice getting to know you” or something like that and then delete the pics saved in the chat (the pics are of me and were saved by him in the chat).
Am I jumping to conclusion? I’m realizing that I really want this to work cause I really do like him, but also I’ve grown up being the “ugly” fat friend so maybe I’m just holding on bc I’m scared of never finding anyone else.
