Why do guys not pursue me when they think I’m attractive to them?

I’m 23 and still single 🙂 I have had a number of times when I went to parties and stuff and met new people. After the party the host would tell me some guy said I was cute or pretty. But these guys never bothered to ask for my contacts or anything.

Like is there something wrong with me? Why do guys say I’m attractive behind my back but never even try to get to know me?

You might be very attractive to the point most guy’s might feel they don’t stand a chance of catching your interest , they might assume you are out of their league and think that you will deny them if they tried coming on to you , Most guy’s are nervous and shy when they come across an attractive girl that catches their eye , Most people become their own worst enemy , when they see someone beautiful and then they automatically assume that person won’t be interested in them. So they back off and don’t take the chance because they are afraid of being denied. So there is more than likely nothing wrong with you , you are just surrounding yourself with Guy’s that don’t have confidence within themselves. If you want to get a guy’s interest there is nothing wrong with you approaching them. Getting over shyness and obtaining confidence is hard for a lot of people to do , Girls’ go through the same shit when she notices a guy that she is attracted to , she get’s nervous and doesn’t say a word. What shy people need to realize is they have nothing to lose , it’s better to take the chance instead of not taking the chance at all. I use to be shy when I was younger until I realized I am not a mind reader , we don’t walk around with signs flashing above our heads stating what we are into or what our current relationship status is , So when I see a beautiful girl that catches my eye , I go for it , if I get denied I get denied but at least I tried and I am not going to go home kicking myself in the ass for not trying period , which most people tend to do. When you see a window of opportunity , go for it

It could be a number of reasons. Maybe they assume you’re taken or you wouldn’t be interested in them. Maybe they realized something about you during the party that turned them off. Maybe they’re just being nice. Sure a lot of men are interested in a lot of women but not always for something serious. All these women who rate themselves as 10 cause dudes are in their DMs fail to realize more than likely they just want to lay the pipe.

I've had the same thing happened to me in every day life but im ugly so I don't know.. maybe they are scared of getting rejected

Some women have made approaching risky and chasing a waste of time for most men in society. It’s doubtful you’re ugly. Polls and statistics show it’s more likely guys just aren’t.

it's kind of a game.
If you are attracted to them, then it isn't any fun for them.
