We’ve been friends with benefits for 3-4 months. And he kinda said this out of nowhere. - A month ago we talked and i said i liked him and he said not looking for anything serious- i accepted this and our friendship has been going well I never asked if it was just physical and this to me feels like saying he “likes me” . I didn't ask for the validation and i accepted our friendship but dont want to take it the wrong way, just was out of nowhere

Friends with benefits is not a good option when you are really looking for a committed relationship. After four months of sex you get excited because he may like you. That's almost demeaning and it is not a balanced situation.

Maybe get a guy who can give you love if that's what you want and need.

Honestly all those statements sound pretty platonic to me, so he might just be trying to make sure you know that he respects you/isn't just using you for sex. Basically an emphasis on the "friends" part of "friends with benefits". Don't mind it and don't expect any kind of change to your relationship.
