Yes, we can feel that, too. When my then girlfriend dumped me at age 28 I felt that I'm not only losing her but also the perspective of a family that we both wanted. I dreaded turning 30 without having a woman to start a family with.

Having said that, the baby fever of a woman nearing 40 can be on a completely different level. It is a force of nature to be reckoned with.

(I do have 3 kids now so it turned out fine.)

I´d say or at least it´s very rare. Guys need to "learn" to want a child of them own and it´s more likely that guys want a family.

i had one friend who literally said he had baby fever, his biological clock was ticking away and he wifed up they finally had a kid, he's really happy. so yeah i guess they sure do
