yes, society makes it all twisted and make us belive things that are not true, like men being brave and such. like I as my mother dont have much desire for a baby while my father and my sister are crazy about kids. Its actually about the person, not gender in my opinion.

I have actually known of situations where the husband was trying to talk the wife into having more kids. Rare I think, but it does happen. Usually it is the other way around of course.

  It was put upon me to give up. Besides no girl out there wants to date a guy with a face like sloth from the goonies and looking as I do being a single dad especially an adoptive one would be looked at in such negative ways.
