Why guys don't ask questions?

I often find my boyfriend not asking me question or clarification even when sometimes he doesn't understand things. Here also i see guys asking questions with community what actually he should be asking with her (his partner) as only she could explain better why so?

I think it depends on their upbringing. For many guys asking questions can seem like a sign of weakness if they learned from a young age that the way to go for a guy is being independent and solve their problems on their own.
Since one only asks if he/she can´t figure something out on their own they get uncomfortable.

Can be he doesn't want to make small things become a bigger issue, could also he because he's used to that way where he had bad experience when asking, could be he think that asking a question will make the girl thinks that he is lack of understanding (in a sense that, he by right should already know what happen, why wouldn't he)
