What are some reasons guys ignore questions?

So I asked my boyfriend how is everything at work. No response. So then I followed it up with another question adding how is he and how is he doing? No response. He ignored both of my questions. Should I take it personal or is there something wrong with him or does he just want to be left alone? I want to know what the people here think before I directly ask him because he's at work rn.

Could be a million reasons. I don't know what kind of relationship y'all have. With a lot of women less is more. A guy learns not to share excessive information with a woman. Because the only thing it earns him most the time is extra judgement. I don't know how much he trusts you. But even if he trusts you it might just be he doesn't want to burden you with negativity. We KNOW women and thier emotions. We don't want to feed negative ones. It'll only make things harder for him. He's a big boy he doesn't need help with his problems if he has anything. Your support is enough.

It depends. When you text him does he usually respond? Maybe he’s very busy. I work in medical so it’s always busy, but I do always respond between duties. Depends on what he does. Did you two have an argument before he left to work.

He responds but just not to my questions. And no we didn't have an argument

I would try paying attention to his expressions and body language when he gets home. If he seems stressed I would just say something like. "Rough day?" And go from there.
