A guy I know--he's a nice guy. I've always been nice to him and he's always been nice to me whenever we have to work together for class projects. When we have to be around each other.
However, I've noticed quite a few different times, he will stare at me from far away (for what seems like a long time) and he will hold eye contact with me with no problem. Like intense eye contact with his eyes (kind of narrowed sometimes) except i've never done anything bad to him. Even after I look away from his stare he'll keep staring at me.
when he and I happen to be near each other up close, he'll see me, and avoid eye contact with me. Sometimes he'll even look down at the ground.
He'll be friendly and make/initiate small talk or greetings with others nearby him, except for me if I'm nearby him? He tends to completely ignore me. I'm not sure if he does this on purpose for some reason or if he doesn't notice he does this.
At first, I thought I was making a big deal out of nothing in my mind, but this sort of thing he does has happened more than once. i think it's kind of rude and immature.
If this had only happened one time, I wouldn't be as confused, but i am. (In the past, years ago, I used to stare longer at people who I had crushes on from afar and I'd get shy around them--is it possible he has a crush on me?). But if he did have a crush, wouldn't he want to talk to me more? Ask me personal questions about myself?
Or does he dislike me?
