Why does this guy stare at me from afar if I’m not his type?

He does it every time he sees me. I’ve spoken with his friend who told me he is into skinny tall white women and he only follows such girls on Instagram. I am petite, not stick thin and Asian. Why does he keep staring if I’m not his type at all? We haven’t spoken once and he doesn’t know much about me.

From my experience, most guys’ “type” is not really their type. It’s the woman they’ve been around the most usually or are the most accustomed to and generally like them the most. It’s never really set and stone that they will only date this type of girl unless he’s just a shallow asshole.. So, I would never go off of that.
If a guy likes you, he likes you. If he’s staring at you, he probably likes you.

Why don’t you ask him directly? He might actually be attracted to you. I’m into white women as well but I also find some Asian women attractive.
