Do you really believe that women expect HV men to settle for one woman?

in my opinion women can't respond to a question like this w/out attacking the man. So no "secure men, or good men can answers please" I would prefer straight answers.

Yes. But it's because of the way women think. I woman can be 300lbs., ugly as sin, and have the personality of a bowl of oatmeal and she'll still think she has V to a HV man. Ergo if she's a stunner, weighs a 100lbs. And has personality for days it's a forgone conclusion to her that a she can have her pick of HV men and they MUST want her and only her.😆

It just doesn't work that way is all.

Women want a guy who checks every box, regardless of her value. But a woman' biggest failing in life is most don't realize is guys actually have feelings. Guy actually have wants and neds... shocking I know! But we do. And while I personally believe in 1 man 1 woman, not all guys do (as not all women do). And the guy that has the ability to pull multiple women, WILL. The only part that amuses me is how many of these women will delude themselves into thinking they can change these men. It happens, but it certainly not the norm in fact, it's a miniscule amount. But these women always think, "I'm the woman that can do it".🤣

If he is truly high value he should be capable of attachment and also of being faithful. I do not agree to a definition that completely excludes this area. Of course, other areas should be present such as consistently high income, that he's respected as a leader, other men value him and turn to him for advice and that he keeps fit and healthy, among other things.

To me, a high-value man should be one that I would also view as a good partner for my daughter, not only as a good business partner or friend.

Depending on his personality a man may stay faithful. About half of all men never cheat in their lives. Practically everyone has opportunities, though. Some unattractive guys may jump at the first opportunity that they get, again depending on their personality.

@ericsummer In general society has established traits of HV men, which includes combinations of power, money, respect, status etc, and no where throughout human history has faithfulness or "attachment" been used as a metric. To believe a man puts in the effort to do the things you mentioned w/ the reward of being w/ one woman is a bit naive. in my opinion u should be realistic w/ your daughter and let her know that there are plenty of faithful men working at McDonald's but she needs to be prepared to share a winner. Half men never cheat because they can't. If they could why do men make up 90% of the consumer base for porn?

I would advise my daughter to look for commitment and faithfulness first. Hunger for power and success is not necessarily a good thing in a partner when it goes beyond a healthy ambition. In addition, the HV man you are describing will be a very busy man, potentially even spending his few free hours in the gym. I believe she would steer way clear of such men.

In Western Christian and Judaic culture faithfulness always constituted a high value. It is also our traditional national virtue in Germany. Society is prepared to overlook shortcomings in this area for some exceptional men to a certain degree, but this privilege is open to so few that it is not statistically relevant.

@ericsummer in my opinion that is excellent advise. The problem you will run into is it is unlikely she will be attracted to the type of man that values faithfulness and commitment. The only men that value that are the ones that aren't able to attract women in the first place. I always here these optimistic POV's on GAG however every real world example disagrees w/ you. When asked to name a HV in the history of the world that had only one woman, the responder ignores or deflects because they understand reality does not validate their belief.
Your second point has validity, however my point is that because of the requirements of today's women they only chase that statistically irrelevant number. Proof being. Would you want you daughter to marry a faithful LV man?

I think a faithful man of medium value would be best. Professionally, he should not be below her level, but he does not have to be above.

Notable people in history are clearly allowed some excesses, but it's a tiny fraction of men who make it into the history books. Where do we cut off HV? Even if this is 1% of men it's a vastly greater number than these exceptional men.

@ericsummer That is an excellent point, however it proves that even you recognize on some level that is not what women want. Also "medium" value gets a bet tricky in America, because of the wealth gap between the top percent. If you recognize that these men are exceptions then you should also recognize that men especially young men are all putting in the work to become that exception. So you are essentially advising your daughter to select a man that has either failed or is less capable? Also making the "history books" isn't the only bar. Making 6 figures would put you in the top 1% of earners and that alone would provide a man w/ more options than the average man.

We are based in Switzerland. Over here, about 35% of men and 17% of women in full-time emplyment make more than 100 thousand US dollars individually. Maybe that's why we can be more relaxed about making an average income.

I would definitely not advise my kids to strive for 1% top income or choose a partner who does.

It's more important that the partner does not do drugs and does not smoke, for example, among lots of other things that the kids themselves must consider. Income or power is secondary there.

@ericsummer according to global data the median income for Switzerland is about 64k while the average is about 48K, also the cost of living in Switzerland is approximately 18% higher than the US so your belief may be inaccurate. I have banged a ton a chick's from Switzerland and they all seemed to have high standards so you may be correct.
I think that you are giving practical advice for people that want to be average and TBH there's nothing wrong w/ that. In America however being an average man, or w/ an average man is probably the biggest mistake you can make.

@ericsummer No I meant 100k annually. The median income in the US is less than 40K. Bevause of social media, outsiders have a perception of a wealthy country paved w/ gold reality is America has one of the largest wealth gaps of any 1st world country. Most Americans are poor, and or in debt including the government of the country. This is probably why so many women seek men w/ wealth an status because there is such a big difference between the lifestyles.
