By proactively suspending your expectations about others and learning to respond to what people need instead of reacting to every little thing that they do. If somebody is busy reacting, they won't have room to respond, and response is where the love and compassion comes through.

Realize the practicalities of altruism and get used to practicing them. Then steadily ingratiate that into your emotions with positive reinforcement.

If you have it in you, you can step away from sociopathy and have altruism like us humans are supposed to. We are supposed to enjoy providing for each other mutually, logically and emotionally.

I don't know, but I always prefer that the woman I'm serving be as selfish as possible. That's just me, though.
