Why is my ex liking all my stories and posts on instagram?

We broke up in November last year and while we were together he never used to like any of my posts on Insta. Could it be he just wants attention and I should just continue ignoring it?

Well he is you ex for a reason so ignoring it or blocking him would be in your best interest. Maybe change the privacy settings so he can't see your content or block him all together. As for why he is doing it I totally agree with you that it is to get your attention. There really isn't any other reason that I can think of unless he thinks that all of a sudden you can be friends. If it were me I would block him so I didn't have to deal with that. Once an ex is an ex there is no going back for me.
