Why do some married men cheat? Why don’t they put their time and attention into their wife and kids instead of looking elsewhere?

adrenaline rush from cheating makes people have a more orgasmic orgasm if that makes any sense. but how sick are those type of people who put an adrenaline rush and few seconds of orgasm above their wife and more importantly their entire family usually including kids. Not just men of course some women also but in general it's mostly men because knowing the forbidden is being done is fools the mind and tricks them into believing that THAT sex is better but it's not it's just the feeling of them knowing it's wrong and still doing it, if that person was the wife and the wife was the mistress, then the roles would be reversed.

it's just a false sense of greater pleasure and to end up usually alone or divorced, while putting kids and the other person through so much emotional pain and stress.. it's really not worth it.

which leads me to assert that that type of human is just utterly disgusting.

Everyone knows what they're doing and everyone knows when attraction is present so everyone should know when to back off and push off, so this "it just happened" excuse is nonsense.

If you meet a coworker or anyone and start to have some type of attraction of whatever type, you should know to put an end to that before it escalates to later say it just happened blah blah nonsense.

I think there are many reasons why guys cheat. Maybe the communication with their wife isn´t good and instead of working on the issues they look for a woman they don´t have issues with. They do so because they feel neglected by their wife either because of sexual issues or because the love grown cold and now they are just arguing over small things. So to get away from the trouble they cheat.
Or it´s because they need validation from more than one woman. But there are way more reasons than that.

Because maybe their wives pushed them away, and used sex as a weapon against them. Maybe they are tired of the nagging, or maybe the wife has withdraw from sex for her own reason.

Truth be told both men and women cheat, so don't just bash the men. And no one knows what is going on in someone else's house. So those that live in glass house shouldn't throw stones.

they are entitled (simple) they can't appreciate the good they have or the pain they cause to others. They only think of themselves and are two much of a coward to divorce before cheating. they lie and fear being alone. they want to try new sexual partners but they need their wife to clean, cook, look after the kids and be there for them. They are not independent they need someone to hep them in the world. But they also need more sex (do they need it? no they want it) and they feel too ashamed to show their wife how much of their mind is preoccupied with sex (the wife could think they are a perv). When they cheat they don't once consider the hurt they would cause. Mainly they don't tell when they have done it not by fear of losing you (but by fear that you will cheat on them in return). Their worst fear is to be cheated on because they are entitled and therefore jealous. They love to do terrible things to others but can't face it when its done to them.
