Collecting hair?

My boyfriend started joking that he wants to have my hair as something to remember me, and he asked if I could bring my little niece hair as a souvenir. I feel very creeped out and I told him that I don’t feel safe when he jokes like that. He apologized and said he didn’t want me to feel this way, and he was just joking. But still I don’t feel comfortable now and in few days I am going to meet him. What should I do?

This dude has some major issues. You need to get away... no run away and quick. I'm not a licensed psychologist but it was my undergrad degree. This is a massive problem he has. To ask about your little niece? How old is she and ask yourself if you think it is apporiate. I'm only assume she is a young teen. Even if she is 20 it is messed up. I'm not sure how you don't see this as a major psychological issue asking for other people's hair to keep. It is a sign of some mental health issues and I'd be extremely worried.
