Why my boyfriend is so contradictory?

I offered him help with some personal issues he has, he declined my help or seeing me or talking to me. Even after that i said he has my support.

He then cancelled our date and said he needs space and time to be alone.

I respected it and left him alone when tonight he started an argument saying im horrible person and why im not supporting hin when he needs it.

wasn't He the one asking for some space? whats going on

Sounds like his personal issues are starting to make him lash out at you, he’s projecting his own emotions onto you. He may even be trying to push you away and self sabotage the relationship. My advice would be to either confront him about his poor behaviour, or just leave him be until he sorts himself out and don’t take his “lashing out” to heart.

This morning he sent me a message saying he is so sorry that he panicked last night and that he has some personal problems that has nothing to do with me
And that we will meet next week

Look all this is cute but he said some pretty seriius hurtful words to me, my trust in him is a bit broken. Im not sure i can be the same with him anymore.
He really hurt me. And all that why? because He has some personal problems? what i have to do with that?
I have no idea what kind of problems he is talking about
