Guys will take compliments from anyone about anything and hold onto them forever.

Seriously, girls... any compliment you give to a guy will stick with him for years, especially if it's genuine and a bit unique.

A cute girl who was a friend of a friend told me I had “sexy skaters legs” once and it’s literally stuck with me for years! Yes, she was cute, but honestly, whenever I get a really specific and genuine compliment like that from anyone, I remember it forever.

I would say a compliment from any woman is a uplift especially if it´s concerning something I did and not just the way I looked. I prefer compliments like that I helped getting something to start or participating in a project at work more than a compliment about the shirt or shoes I wore.

Guys don't recieve compliments from women. So anytime we recieve a GENUINE compliment it's always appreciated. But most of the time we know it's not sincere. She WANTS something. It's done for manipulation purposes. So the truth is we view compliments with suspicion. Because are suspicion is almost always warranted.
