What does it mean, if an uni professor (man) and a student (girl) lock eyes a lot during lecture?

Obviously thats his job to look at students while talking, but i realised that he looks at me a lot more than others, and for like 3-5 seconds, which feels like a lot. And when he jokes around he looks into my eyes.

I feel like a jerk after writing this question, and awkward but here it is.

But in all seriousness, you go through school and college to become a teacher because this is what you chose your life to be. I dont judge anything that is consentual but in my opinion you have the responsability of keeping this between no one but yourself and him.
