Why guys verbally harass girls sexually in video games?

So here is my personal perspective... it's the curse of geekdom. Some people take their gaming to an extreme level, like they really start believing they are the 50 level Demon Slayer. Like maybe they were not cool in highschool but they think they are one hell of a kick ass Demon Slayer. And if you do not accept their abuse on some level, they will come and shit on you.

Those are for sure the trash cans who provide no support in any online game and then cry when they get called out. They’re either mentally handicapped is some regard or think it’s somehow funny perhaps. I always just mute up, I concentrate better anyways.

same reason they verbally harass men in video games. Its Banter/Bullying/Iniation/Insecurities. Men receive just as much `harassment` as women but they complain way less about it.

The `harassment` directed towards girls online over voice chat is sexual in nature because thats the one thats gonna drive up the roof.

I'm a guy so obvs don't know the whole situation for girls but when I'm a third party in a convo with random guys and girls I'd say the guys are way more likely to white knight then harass
