+1 yNo, I have lots of talent and skills, and they actually make it harder to meet women because:
1. I now only want a hot woman who matches or compliments my talent and skills, this reduces my dating pool to less than 1% of the population.
2. I spend half of my time on said talents and skills, rather than socializing, this reduces my chances of meeting that 1% by 50%. I also spend the other half gaming, and while I can meet people gaming, I like unpopular games, so my chances of meeting any of that 1% are reduced by another 25%.
Its very lonely up here, I try to multitask so I can socialize while working on my hobbies/skills/talents, but often I get sucked into my own little world, and most of my available social venues lack my type of woman (science minded geeky artistic gamer).00 Reply

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yNo, ony if his talent or skills translate into some kind of status... such as an athlete, musician, actor. Otherwise, if not, it's his ability to fit a stereotype. There's a reason millions of guys in the U. S. are called baby daddies, not fiance's or husbands. He outwardly fit a stereotype (faux tough guy, wannabe gangster, small time dope dealer). Quite a few women... found them attractive enough to procreate with.😉But if you're not 1 of those guys, then your talent or skills need to translate into status. Pro athletes, musicians and actors aren't hurting for female attention, trust me.🤗Neither are deadbeat baby daddies. Bear in mind, this is from an American perspective, so it's hardly global.

339 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Yes definitely!!! What good is a guy that doesn't know how to maneuver life?
Personally what turns me on in a guy is if he knows how to fix things, could be stuff around the house, car, etc.
I already miss my boyfriend that died a month ago today. He knew how to fix just about anything! Now it's up to me to take care of that kind of stuff. My nickname is Damsel in Distress 🤷🏼♀️12 Reply

Thank you. This is the first death I have really grieved over, so I don't know what to expect. I was sound asleep a few hours ago. I woke up real fast screaming his name. The only thing I can connect it to is today, the 8th of September around 1 or 2 in the morning. That is the exact time he did. I still don't know what he died from. 🤷🏼♀️

+1 yI think it's ALL about talent and skills.
If you have neither, I think it's impossible to get women, unless you get women with no talent and skills who aren't interested in someone with wit and verve.
I certainly know it's what I look for, as well as warmth and kindness. That's pretty much the entire package.

10 Reply 1.6K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. I've said it before and I'll say it some more -- if you want to improve your social life, stop thinking in terms of getting into her pants and scoring -- approach her with the mentality of, 'What can I do for her, how can I make her happy?' And even after the relationship is underway, maintain that philosophy, and never deviate from it. When you're trying to think of what you want to do, say, 'Why don't I trim the hedges and wash your car?' Every day that you're able to serve her in some way is a huge victory. You'll go home thinking, 'Wow, that was a fantastic night!' Really. I know it probably sounds strange, but if you give it a chance, you won't believe what that approach can do, for both you and her.

+1 yConfidence is the #1 thing that attracts women.
When you build your skills and achieve your goals, it’ll build your confidence.
It comes hand in hand.
Also, the skills that you should hone should include social skills and relationship skills — not simply hobbies.
If you’re a confident guy with great social skills and relationship skills, you’re golden.31 Reply- +1 y
It’ll also build discipline and if you turn one or more of your skills into a career or business, it’ll be something that you can become passionate about.
Women are also drawn to purpose-driven men with something they’re passionate about.
By simply improving yourself and pursuing your passion, you’ll naturally draw women to you as a byproduct.

Being a surfer helped me to get girls.
Playing guitar helped me to get girls. In jr high and high school, I would carry my acoustic guitar around to parties or when there were gatherings at parks. And when I was playing lead guitar and singing lead in rock bands in high school and in my 20s, girls loved me.10 Reply
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yyes but I can only speak to the fact that I personally do think some skills can add extra points onto somebody I am attracted to i. e. multilingualism, manual dexterity, playing an instrument (usually guitar, drums or piano lol) etc.

+1 yYes, skills are necessary to not only be a developed and interesting but can be used for profit or fun, but it is what gives a level of confidence and competence which attracts others. You still need to be able to socialize and make connections, have charm and charisma to pull that off as well.
Bottom line, if you have skills that you are good at and allow you to display them and give you an aura of confidence, it will draw women to you. It is one reason I am with my girl now.
00 Reply 722 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Of course it does , if you have a special talent " get it out there " , a quality talent will attract a quality individual , now it depends on the talent of course , academic , sport , chess , juggling , comic , etc etc - all great attractive skills.
If you skill was " The worlds greatest stubby drinker " ( Aussie Beer ) I'd probably keep that one quiet , and just mention it in passing that you made a lot of money , drinking masses of stubbies.

+1 yDefinitely. I love a guy who's ambitious and always learning new abilities, skills, and knowledge. Men are always impressed by my ability to do the same (but im married, so thats as far as it goes.). It shows some great qualities in both men and women.
It also helps a person become more successful faster because they have skills others don't have and have the drive to go above and beyond.
00 Reply445 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Depending on the skill itself.
A chess player won't attract more girls than a guitar player. Both hard skills to learn but one sexier than the other.
If you wanna know what women are into the trick is to read "mommy porn" novels and see what the men depicted in them are like.
*mommy porn novels = romance books written for a female audience00 Reply
+1 yYes it does. Because it is a sign of some sort of curiosity, discipline and the desire to learn. And if it is a common interest or skill it is a topic that can be discussed on a first date

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yNo. It's purely by the luck of the draw. I will say this though the more visible the more engaging you are the greater your odds are. Women are common, but quality women are rare. And quality woman while they might approach you they aren't going to do it with closed mouthed, timid guys.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yIf you want a great girl you have to be a great guy. It doesn't matter how I intelligent, handsome or talented you are, if you're a shit person, you're a shit person. What matters is the heart and the guys personality. If he's sweet, loving, caring, respectful others, had good morals etc.

00 Reply361 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. In a way it does, because what it took you to get that shaped you as a person. Sure you have a crazy skill. But to obtain it, you had to be determined, ambitious, patient, have a strong will, passion. A drive that people in general look up to.

Yep, or inspired genius constantly distracted by ideas and tasks (depends on your point of view I suppose).
I can restore cars, make things out of wood, add a room on a house, fix things, cook, but no one knows that until they get to know you, so it doesn't help to find great girls.
