+1 yOh lord... There goes my reputation as a gentle / kind man.
Yes I did. Although I'm not proud of it... I would do that all over again. I beat up my best friend so badly he ended up in the hospital ( broken nose, broken jaw, 2 broken ribs and a broken arm) and I ended up in jail for 4 days. ( I definitely deserve it)
He treated his wife so bad... Beating, calling her a whore and other nasty stuff. I told him to stop or else... ( you get one chance with me. Blow it and your done).. He didn't stop.
It was 1.5 years after I lost everything dear to me.. I couldn't handle the fact that some people who had everything ( this case love and wife) act they where property and could do what ever they want.
The juge took my situation in account and desided my friend had it coming and he understood the I lost it. My friend got a restraining order.. And was no longer allowed to see his wife.

+1 yI have won and lost fights. I personally prefer to win an argument or a debate than a fight. As a battle rapper I've learned that verbally decimating someone has as much or more impact as violence. I've never been one to start fights but as an average sized man with a passive disposition I'm occasionally tested by someone who mistakes my kindness for weakness. You can feel it in the air when you're going to be attacked and in that moment it's best to swing first and end it quickly. Beating someone up rarely makes you feel better and almost never earns you anyone's respect.

+1 yI've lived in my share of rough areas. People get drunk and need help getting on the ground sometimes. People may try to publicly disrespect a person, which invites others to do the same if the person doesn't stand up to the tester. Sometimes people misinterpret the quantity of badass they possess and do rude things like road rage. Those people are given the opportunity to reconsider their choices, commonly from a prone or supine position. Some people get excessively rude and attempt to relieve a person of their hard-earned money or belongings, and ought to be given opportunity to reflect on bad life choices.
Short answer, yes, but never unprovoked.
10 Reply 414 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Ofcourse I did. I lost count on any many times this already happened.
I'm a guy and real guys settle their disputes with a fistfight occasionally when things get to heated between them. Talking isn't gonna resolve it so fighting is the next best thing I guess.
The beauty of it is then men can hate each other before they start fighting but when the fights is over and the stronger guy wins the dispute.. men can sometimes give eachother a handshake after the fight and they respect eachother afterwards. No hate anymore and everyone knows their place 🙏
I have had fights with friends at school that I hanged out out with and immediately after beaten eachother up we shake hands and we became friends again after a fight. The simplicity of men is nice when they disagree🤷โโ๏ธ🙏💪06 Reply
Asker+1 yWhat if the guy called cops on you
Asker+1 yEven if he had visible injuries?
Asker+1 yAnd you didn't
Asker+1 yI understand I am just interested how police would react if one person didn't have any bleeding for example but other guy did
+1 yIn a hockey game once but it was because I was attacked after scoring a goal lol. It was the weirdest fight. I never understood fighting in recreational leagues lol. It's way too childish.
I scored a goal and a guy from behind rammed me into the boards as I was skating back to the bench. I got up luckily and was ok and he came back again for no reason. I'm like bro what are you doing? So I grabbed his legs out from underneath him as he charged me and gave him a few good punches and I got off him when I realized he basically "tapped" out. I felt bad afterwards. I was prob 22 or something. I let the first hit go but when he charged me the second time I decided to defend myself.

+1 yLong time ago, I was in my 20s, and this runt of a teenager threw snowballs at me, ne hitting me hard in the side of the head. Some would have just kept on walking, but I didn't. I approached him and decked him, first with a push, then a punch. I left him lying in the snowbank.
That's the only time I've done anything like that. I usually just ignore things and walk away.

+1 yI was in several fights in school but, I think they mostly ended in a tie or they stopped when I got the better of them. But, I NEVER STARTED any fights or set out, intentionally, to beat someone up!
One guy, in band class, was trying to start some shit with me before the class started and I gave him a good shot across his knuckles with my drumsticks and, all of a sudden, he was my friend!!10 Reply
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yI haven't been in a fight since Jr. High. While my size attracts attention I think it also deters most guys. I fear no one, but I don't feel the need to beat my chest. So if a guy likes to feel bigger and badder then me I'll just let him have that. I don't need it. But if he crosses a line he also needs to know that I won't back down. I think I'm pretty good at convincing other guys that test me of that. Most guys don't want to fight, they just want to puff up their chest and look tough. So just let them have that. It's not worth potentially going to jail for.
00 Replyyes i have but... i got beaten up way more. .. im too old for crap like that.. its pretty dangerous. one fight can easily escilate into. multiple fights ememies are easier to make than friends.. n kids.. people ingeneral are tougher than they used to. be... ufc has turned every one into a potential tough guy..

+1 yOnce in school. I was the new kid, and this popular kid was bullying a friend. Funny, I never had to again. I guess there was one other time I ripped an earring off this kidโs ear. It was in a classroom while the teacher stepped out. He was a bully too. When the teacher returned no one vouched for him and I didnโt even get in trouble 😂
00 ReplyNo. I mean... I have been in a handful of fights. I never started them, it was mostly self defense. And while I came out on top I never "beat anyone up." To me that implies that you cause severe bruises and swelling at the very least. As far as I know that didn't happen. I know how to fight, but I'm not a violent person. I always tried to disengage as soon as I could.

Actually I did break my brothers arm once. It wasn't my intention. He destroyed something that I crafted. I got mad an pushed him. He fell on the ground and broke his arm. I felt like shit. I still do when I remember it. It's the only time I have ever been the cause of an injury like that.
Nah. I don't fight. It's unnecessary. I won't fight over a girl or over a game we play. When I'm mad people get scared cos it hard to get me to calm down. I lost a girl once due to my anger, she said "if I ever get you mad, I'm scared what you will do to me" no one could calm me down for hours it went on. I rarely get angry or rather I get mad all the time for like 2 seconds

+1 yNo- as a younger brother (and a youngest sibling), I learned early on to go out of my way to AVOID violence.
10 ReplyYes 😂. Beat up a guy which unfortunately left him with some permanent respiratory issues. I haven't had a fist fight ever since.

3.1K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. I got beat up a few times growing up. One time I pulled an asshole backwards off a bar stool and after I slammed him on the floor I told him to stay down. Fortunately he did.
00 ReplyI have forced submissions before, but "beating" someone up is not my style. I'd only do so if it were necessary to end a threat to me or others.
00 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. yeppers, but being the size that I am and how I'm built it was not very many times.
They started it, I just finished it.00 ReplyI'm not a violent person. I would only be in a fight if it was self defense.
