Let me guess, your "other guy friend" is a boyfriend. The party of the first part, wants to be more than a friend.
At your age, any men that are age appropriate have a hormone level that could choke a horse. This makes it very difficult to have any relationship where sex, the possibility or the reality, isn't a factor. I know you don't want to believe this, sorry.
Are they ex lovers? Or maybe he thinks they were.
