Why do guys hide their feelings for a girl?

It’s not just from women it’s from pretty much everyone. As boys growing up you’re taught to be strong. Men are seen as protectors, in our eyes if you’re not strong enough you can’t be a protector of women, of your family. You may say well that’s not right but think about it. If all men were emotional like women what would this world be like? You probably wouldn’t date these men. I’ve heard a few women who said their boyfriend got knocked out in a fight, they didn’t see him the same after. As a a matter of fact they dumped them. Because they thought wow this dude is supposed to protect me. Some women have dumped men for crying, didn’t see him the same as they used to. I know women say they want men who are emotional, who express their feelings, etc. But here’s the thing, when is too far too far for a girl? Would a girl dump a man if he cried over his dog dying? Maybe. Maybe not. But that isn’t a chance a man is willing to take by crying. Even women can’t really say at what point would they dump a man if he started crying. I work in the medical field, mainly female nurses. There’s one other male nurse. He, I would say is emotional, he expresses his feelings. But women don’t like it because he tells them why can’t you do this yourself. They’re always asking him to do things because he’s a man. He gets called a lot for a lot of heavy things. When we have hostile patients. He’s honest, he expresses how he feels. Now imagine if men all did that, saying what we really thought. Would you like that? Probably not. Men hold back a lot of things they want to say about women.

Are a lot of guys to fall in love with a girl

But then there are many thoughts that go through their head

Are they really ready for a commitment are they good enough for her
Are they responsible enough have they got everything out of their system with other girls there are so many different things that go through a guy's head is he shy

I could tell you stories about me when I was younger than her kind of funny but they are so true and thank God that I had to talk with somebody one day and I really realize what was really going on and the reason why I was going through what I was going through because it changed my life I will always be grateful for that person to having that talk with me but there are many many reasons

I find that most of them don't. Personally I haven't had any guys do that to me if they are interested unless they are so good at it that they can hide it without me knowing. I guess that brings me to my next point which is how would you know they are hiding it... if they are hiding it? I guess that is just contradicting in a way. I think most guys are pretty straightforward when it comes to flirting and letting a girl know they like them. That has been my experience at least.

We're taught to hide them from everybody. To the point that many of us don't KNOW what they are. Anger is the only emotion that isn't suspected of being gay. Now obviously we have other emotions besides anger, but it can be hard to convince him it's safe to dig it out, or even what emotion it is.

Because when a girl says I am Arab and I like to talk to European men they are welcomed and when a guy says he is Arab or Asian and he likes to talk to European girls they are gaslighted into guilty feelings
