So one of my closer colleagues/friend calls me after work and we start talking and she mentions a few coworkers where asking about me, as in what’s wrong with Diana today, I personally dont think anything specific was wrong maybe I just wasn’t all upbeat but not like I brought my mood on coworkers supposedly they believe something is not normal with me today so they tried asking my closer associate/friend…question is why do they (care so much) if anything was up with me even let’s say why does “me” bother them so much bc like I said I didn’t bring it on to others my mood so that shouldn't bother them but why go ask my friend instead of me personally if that’s the case
The office at large probably thinks your friendly coworker is going to bother you least. It's kind of socially normal to let the person with the best rapport interact with someone if they seem down.
Especially if it's the first time you've had a down day at work, it's probably coming from a genuine place of concern/curiosity.
No need to freak out.

It’s called having “resting sad face” happens to me when I’m tired. People assume you’re sad when you might not be.
Your friend knows you better. She's more likely to know if something is up with you. This is a good thing. People are concerned about your well being. Remember that if you are or become depressed. People care about you. You matter to others.
