He dumped me and now he likes my stories?

This guy dumped me, after we were dating for about a month. Up to that point everything seemed fine. Apparently not for him, because his reasoning for dumping me was that he has been losing feelings, found someone new & that I would never be what he wanted.

So it‘s no surprise that I find his current behaviour quite odd. He started liking my instagram stories and replies to almost every story with some sort of comment. He started liking them a few weeks after dumping me. Also he tried contacting me to offer me a job (to work with him). I accepted his offer but to this day he hasn‘t given me more information for it & I don‘t want to reach out.

What could this possibly mean?

Ugh that's trash behavior from him. Clearly he's still got some kind of feeling for you if he's hitting up your stories like that. His excuses make no sense either - who dumps a girl just to go back and stalk her socials?

Seems to me like maybe things didn't work out with the new girl he mentioned, or he realized too late what he had with you. But that's no excuse for messin' with your feelings now.

I'd say ignore his sorry ass! Don't respond to his stories or messages, he doesn't deserve your energy. He made his choice to end it, he can live with that.

And I wouldn't trust this "job offer" either sis - sounds like an excuse to try wiggling his way back in. Stand your ground and don't give him the time of day.

You deserve so much better than some douchey ex playing games. Keep doin' your thing and having fun without him! Someone worthwhile will come along who knows how to treat you right.

It means you put entirely too much value on social media. If you can't handle him liking your stories BLOCK him.
