Situationship help?

i’m in a situationship with a guy right now. I’ve know him for maybe 3 or 4 weeks. We see eachother a few times a week, and usually snap when we aren’t together.

when we’re together we cuddle and kiss and sometimes do more. but everytime i try to leave he always delays me leaving telling me not to leave. one time he texted me the next day and told me i should’ve stayed the whole night.

not just this, but when we’re cuddling he sometimes falls into a deep sleep. it’s so difficult to wake him sometimes lol.

we always leave with a hug and a goodbye kiss. he gives me mixed signals sometimes though. i don’t know if he wants a relationship or just wants to stay like this. i want a relationship with him but i just don’t know if he has the same thing in mind. helpppp.

People don’t seem to know but situationship is the new term for casual. If you don’t set the ground rules then you two aren’t really exclusive. You can leave it how it is and see where it goes or have a talk and make it official. It’s up to you

I was new to the dating scene again after being married for 16 years and when I found someone I wanted to be with I basically said, I don’t know how this works anymore, but I like you and I want us to be exclusive. I don’t want to talk to or be with anyone else but you. She responded in kind confirming she felt the same. Then I just said I’d love it if you’d be my girlfiend (which felt a little juvenile but) and she said yes, I’d love to be your girlfriend. And that’s it. Short and sweet. No super long discussions or anything. Just confirmed we felt the same and wanted the same thing and it was a done deal.

you two have only been talking for 3 to 4 weeks. have you ever even been on a date with him? or do you just hug, cuddle, and kiss? because if he hasn't asked you on a date, it's pretty clear he wants something casual and i'm guessing you want something more serious. so ask him why he doesn't take you on a date? and then that'll open the door at least a little bit more.

I've been in situationships and I've learnt, men are easy to read. if he leaves you confused it's cause he is confused ABOUT you.

he wants to do all relationship stuff with you without going official. if he isn't willing to commit, let that bird fly away girl.

First of all, why would you get in a stupid situationship with this guy when that's not what you wanted? That makes no sense. If he wanted a relationship with you then you would be in one.
