Situationship advice?

Do guys get in to relationships without falling in love? Like would they want anything serious if they are not in love with a girl?

Because there is this dude and we have been talking for like 2 months he asked me for relationship short after we met i told him how i wouldn't want to be in relationship before i fell in love

He always tells me how much he loves and want's me to be with him he always says he would wait forever until i am ready for relationship

We have kissed few times and after then i tried to push him back because i don't want to do this because if he really does love me like he says being with him without loving him would hurt him

So when he asks me why i am pushing him i told him "i am not in love" it was as in give me more space

But he says word to word "the feeling that's not in you isn't on me neither" meaning he is not inlove either right? He then says "i am not head overheels over you i just want to be with you but just know i am not the kind of guy that gets heartbroken over a girl"

And that made me think if he doesn't love me why would he want me to be with him

I need genuine advice

Guys do get into a relationship without being in love and that mostly cause that's what is going to bring them to their goal = getting you/sex or cause they don't wanna be alone and so they stick around until they meet someone else

He can't be in love in like 2 months, I'm sorry, I don't buy that and him saying he won't be heartbroken over you is basically his ego speaking

Guys often are not in love when they are engaging a woman. This guy sounds fairly formal to me. And, better than most. You are talking about Lust not Love.
