I think this may just be my first reaction and I’m not thinking straight. But there was this venue that my boyfriend and I discovered. It had live entertainment and a great vibe. It felt like ‘our’ place.
This morning I woke up to a message from him telling me he’d been to this venue with his friends. I know it sounds silly but I feel upset, like I thought he would at least invite me. I haven’t meant his friends before. Am I being silly?

I also feel the same way when my boyfriend decides to start watching a series with his friend even though we discovered the series together so I know how you feel lol
I think you might be feeling left out and that’s totally normal. At the same time, your boyfriend probably wasn’t aware that you wanted it to be “your place” together. He probably just thought it was a cool spot he could vibe in and he brought his boys to come check it out. I think you could try bringing it up saying “maybe we could go back there together, I’ve always thought the place had a great vibe and I originally wanted to go there with you but since you’ve been there with your friends, why not I come along and check the place out, I can even finally meet some of your friends!”
No, you have the feelings you have. It probably isn't worth ending the relationship, but a sit down and talk might be in order. You could tell him, "I don't mind if you have a boy's night out, just let me know that's what it is. Also, I'd like to meet your friends sometime."
