Should I be upset my boyfriend didn't invite me?

So my boyfriend went out he says last minute with his family to a new bar and restaurant place last night but didn't think to text me to meet them to hang out. I feel rejected and like he left me out and didn't think of me. Am I acting too much of baby or is it ok because he was with his family? or should he invite his girlfriend somewhere fun like that? I need advice? And guys have you done this? Is it a bad sign?

Personally I'm very sensitive to rejection, so I can imagine him not inviting you made you feel that way and I wouldn't call you a baby. However, since it was last minute and with his family, I'd say you don't need to take this one incident personally. As long as he does invite you on other occasions ;)
