I mean, while women are doing everything they can to make sure they have friends and partners around them when they're older, men don't go out of their way to ensure that they too have people around them. It's not fair to see men just enjoying life while women constantly worry about being loved. What can I do to make some of these men more appreciative of women that show interest in them when these men are clearly passed their expiry date?
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yMen are actually very scared of it. It’s one the reasons you see some middle aged men settling for women who treat them like sh*t or worse gold diggers.
I truly believe men who are being exploited by parasitic pos women know exactly what’s going on. But they want to put on an illusion to others and themselves that the woman really values them. It’s twisted ideal.
This is going to be horrible to say this. But I wish my dad divorced my mom years ago. She doesn’t value nor respect him at even a fraction as much as vice versa. The ugly truth is she values men only if they can do something for her and her expectations are often sky high because and only because she was won the genetic lottery and was born beautiful. Not because she ever earned the right to have impossible standards. Their relationship was one of the worst possible role models I could of had as a kid growing up. He won’t divorce her though because he’s terrified of dying alon.
Anyway I went through a “scared and rush” phase a few years ago when I wanted to get married and start a family. That didn’t work out well at all. Worked out horribly. Now I am accept whatever God brings into my life or chooses not to bring in my life. I don’t want to die alone but I can accept it now.
But I believe women are more socially “moldable” and impresionable then men. A few decades ago a middle aged and childless woman was considered a spinster cat lady. Much worse off then a middle aged single man. Now it’s literally “celebrated” to be childless and unmarried if you are woman. Which is stupid.
Being single or married shouldn’t be “celebrated” nor condemned. It’s a choice that is no one else’s business whether good or bad.

Opinion Owner+1 yAnother thing is women are usually better at networking and keeping friendships as they age.
Male friendships start to fade at 30 and older. Reason being is men typically value their work and life objectives over being “social”. They know if they don’t make the dollar and do something with their lives they won’t be valued by anybody particularly women.
Back when men were expected to support their wives and kids this made sense. Men settle down and focuses on raising the family and care about what matters most to accomplish that.
But now more and more middle age men are finding themselves single there is a big disconnect going on. Lots of depression, addictions and most sad of all suicides.
Opinion Owner+1 y@Machette yep. However skyrocketing single hood are NOT a good thing. Not good for mental health obviously but also not good for even your own lifespan.
But it wasn’t men who wanted it to be this way. We might of shot ourselves in the foot with porn and dating apps (which is overall very detrimental to relationships).
However the new “modern” women just keep on marginalizing long term relationships and marriages become. It’s becoming more and more unattractive for men (even dangerous).
Again being single and lonely is NOT a good trend in America. But radical feminism has really done a number on men and many guys are reacting to it (finally drawing the line).
If we want to bring back marriages it really needs to start with women first. This new “empowered single lady” crap isn’t making them happy at all long term.- +1 y
I disagree with you on the lonely part. Being single isn't a problem at least not for 30-35+ year old men. At that point the majority of men can be happy with maybe one or two real male friends and a rotating cast of side chicks if they want sex.
I think in 100 years marriage will be a foreign concept. They will talk about it in history books and people will laugh as to why we did such a thing.
Opinion Owner+1 y@Machette you know I can tell myself the same thing and obviously that would be the best (surface) approach I can have nowadays.
But that doesn’t mean I won’t turn down a legit opportunity. I could have gotten married last year for mutually beneficial economic reasons.
It wasn’t for love though. I ultimately said no because I don’t want to find myself being tempted to commit adultery. Even if it is just a paper marriage (and she’s “okay” with it) one thing I’m not nor ever will be is a cheater.
So I said no. But I would be lying if I said I wasn’t having cognitive dissonance over it.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yMaybe it has to do with the fact that women are naturally nurturing and having people around gives y’all that continued ability to do so.
Men just want our freedom to do as we choose without the responsibilities that life brings and having to take into account how what we do affects those closest to us.
I am 51. I have struggled with my mental health since my 20’s. The thought of being responsible for a child or children all the while having to hold down a job was just too much. The thought of being married and the responsibility of paying a mortgage or rent, or maintaining a home was stressful. However, l did marry twice, but l stressed, no children. That wasn’t fair to either of them. So l am back to being single. With my mental health being what it was, holding down a job was difficult. See, l have a strong work ethic. I am not afraid to work. I choose to work and not sit at home collecting a crazy check and smoking dope. I have had a lot of jobs where l loved doing what l was doing. But when asked if l liked my job my response was always the same, yes, but not the people l work with.
Men also believe in having total control over the money we earn. If we want to blow it all, we can. If we are frugal, then we can pinch a penny until Honest Abe cries out from the grave.
When men become older our mortality becomes an issue. We see our time running out and don’t want any hindrances to enjoying what life has to offer. Just like women, when y’all see your time running out, you want as many people around for their company and to continue your ability to nurture.
Now, a woman that has been in a bad marriage or two, will also swear off men, become bitter and guarded. Give it time, it will happen. Because you happen to have a child or two, you have a purpose, that child or children become your best friend. We men can really be assholes. Women can die old spinsters as long as you have your girlfriends and children surrounding you.
I have been divorced for 2 1/2 years after a difficult 20 year marriage. I have not gone out of my way to date anyone. But that doesn’t mean l haven’t flirted while out and about living my life. No dating sites, no bars or club scene. But if l see someone, l flirt. Sometimes l see the same ladies on a regular basis. I flirt and see where it goes. If we happen, we happen, if not, oh well. But for now, l am free of stress and responsibility outside of the workplace.
My home is my sanctuary.12 Reply

u +1 yfor the most part... and these are generalizations, men are pushed to face the fears, and deal with them in any way you can and also deal with them even if you can't
as a man, you cannot afford to be afraid and scared (generalizing again) you just go and do it
so, after a life time of this... you used get used to it, maybe you never lose the fear but you get used to a lot of stress, doubt, anxiety and many other negative emotions, but you also have to hide these (more generalizations, I know women do this in many ways as well) so they're not obvious, because you also have to be a leader, you have to be assertive, you have to protect others and others do look up to you
so what do you do? you try to show your brave, not worried, courageous face... and many times your happy or carefree face
many times, you become the rock or the shoulder others will lean on and look up to when things go dire...
somewhat recently enough... I went through the most scary situation of my life, my biggest fear indeed, which is... not being able to do anything to help someone I love and care for and what made it worse is that, if was affecting someone else I love way way more and directly so that felt even worse to me
yes, I was scared and afraid because the situation was truly bad, so much that one of the strongest man I know ended up needing me, and of course I was there to help, and after three or four days of no sleep and tremendous and continuous stress I ended up o the edge as well...
and that's when my best friend showed up, and he was there for me and to take care of so many things that needed to be taken care of
we were all afraid and scared, and worried and stressed but you know... face it, deal with it... you don't show "fear" you push it away and do what you have to do, now days later after that, you would have seen me here at G@G as my usual me, joking around and posting some of the dumbest jokes to amuse myself (and few others here who like those too, lol) but just because I was having a good time with you guys that didn't mean I was not affected by that traumatic experience as well... it took me about a full month to recover and to stop having nightmares about it... so...22 Reply- +1 y

4.9K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Most men who are single in their 40s were once married, and very often got taken to the cleaners in divorce court. Many are still paying for a wife and kids they no longer see. Others escaped this fate, but saw their friends go through it. For myself, 3 guys in my 5th and 6th grade class committed suicide, one when his wife cheated on him and the other two as a result of their divorces.
By the time they hit their 40s, they aren't looking to risk that again. Many will date, even long-term, but many won't cohabitate and most aren't interested in marriage. The legal system is just too one-sided.
Slightly over half of "first marriages" end in divorce, and women are the ones filing 80% of the time - 90% if the woman went to college. It's not men leaving the relationships the majority of the time, it's women, and more and more men are realizing this. With a system that encourages women to leave and rewards them with cash and prizes, and any kids by default, most men with middle-aged experience and wisdom can figure out that it's a poor risk.51 Reply- 977 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic.
+1 yI've been around enough death to know that with someone, alone, it all ends the same, in a puddle of your own piss and shite while your body continues to fart after you pass. It's not pretty like the movies. Since it's going to be the same for all of us, what is there I'm supposed to be scared of? Leaving my love ones behind? Sure, that sucks a lot, and that'll bum me out, but not for long, because I'll be dead. If I find a woman worthwhile then I'll gladly spend my "act two" years with her, but I'm not going to just seize the next woman to walk by and spend those years either settling, or pretending to be someone I'm not. What's that you say? (Not you, OP... you... whoever) You have "trauma you're working through about <fillintheblank>"... no, stop, honestly I don't care. I'm not going to spend these years being someone's free therapist for some petty first-world shite either. If you're not well adjusted by now you probably won't be anytime soon and my time is limited. At least the younger women I can partially justify that with as they've spent less time in adulthood. You're 40 years old and can't get over why daddy didn't love you? Can't imagine. Hard pass. Oh you're out of a bad relationship and want to re-live your twenties? Knock yourself out, I won't be there for it, thanks. Hi, it says here that you're going to preemptively blame me for a bunch of stuff random men who I have never met have done to you in the past because obviously I'm going to be the same way? Okay, let's fast forward to the part we WILL have in common, the breakup. I'm NOT 20 anymore, I just don't have a lot of time to play FAFO with these women. Serious applicants? Hell yes let's have a conversation.

We grew up loveless and unwanted. Especially in our younger years, where our only value was probably our youth. Outcompeted by upgrades of (older) men.
It's been going on for long enough to take it as a standard life now. It has quite literally became a normal routine in the average man's life.
Andrew Tate says it how it is. You probably won't watch it but it reflects the reality for men, which is THE reason why Andrew Tate is not just a name. Take the second video with a grain of salt (i loathe the use of "alpha/beta" concepts in these contexts).
https://www.youtube.com/embed/itwJz0qWna0https://www.youtube.com/embed/BNeG1-cmiAISo what's left to do? Changing the fate? How long can we battle against what's fate got for us? If it was so simple, most of us wouldn't choose to be lonely. Is it really surprising, that we have toys like these and dakimakura girlfriend pillows?
https://www.youtube.com/embed/9OSATzYWRTcThere are stages to grief and the last stage is "acceptance". This is where we are at by the time we are middle aged if not sooner in a quarter life crisis. So we enjoy what we can and do what's left to do. Onwards!
As for me? I am not getting any younger either.
01 ReplyWell I wouldn’t call myself a middle aged man but I would still relate to that ad I would be perfectly fine dyinv by my own and wouldn’t be afraid of it, firstly I view death as something mysterious, like it’s mysterious and supernatural in this natural world like kind of the only magic that truly happens cuz bo one knows what happens at death and the most important part and what makes it mystical is what happens afterwards!;secondly maybe men are more stoic in nature compared to stoic women like tough women may be sufficient but still want the company of some while men can be ruthless and be a lone wolf, I mean like maybe that parinal part of men maybe can make them handle being alone at the deathbed;but certainly there are many factors to play!!

For me , I dont need people around all the time , but there is usually people around its that kind of place , I have two older daughters , a very young girlfriend , who also has two kids , and my life is fitness , good food , and very sexual.
The women older , that I see both in Thailand and Australia , dont seem to fear dying alone , they are just living life , sadly for women there are biological issues that tend to change the sexual cycle a bit , but not for all , some , I wouldn't say they are scared , maybe in USA they are , I dont know about that.
11 Reply313 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Though guys often conform in order to please their partner, as they get older, they just want to be accepted as they are. They become more comfortable being alone rather than being on guard to when the next criticism will fall.
Would I like to be in a relationship? Sure I would... but only if she appreciates me, and not the potential I could or should be. It's not that we want to be alone. It's just breaking away from the indoctrinated belief of the woman making the man, or the woman behind the man. Guys appreciate support, but they don't need someone in the background pushing them, no matter how well-intentioned women believe they are.

It's not men... it's the men you choose. Take a look at your choice patterns, if you continue to end up with the same results. It's like people complaining about similar results from multiple people. They find it easy to blame the other people rather than asking how they fit into the equation.
For instance, what I find most attractive physically in a woman is not what society promotes, so the vast majority of women who have the look I appreciate feel inadequate and defective. I want a woman who feels good about what she brings to the relationship, and that is more important to me than a particular look, so I have to adjust my preferences. That doesn't mean I'm seeking women who are the opposite of what I'm attracted to... it means I am being more flexible.

+1 yEveryone should be afraid. Living alone as you get older becomes a waking nightmare. If you’re lucky you can move into a senior home with all the other lonely old people that no one cares about, but at least a caregiver can help you clean yourself and take your meds. If you don’t qualify for a Medicare waiver and you don’t have a family or children to pay $6,000/month, you end up living in a house you can’t maintain, living in your own filth or you get evicted and die of exposure on the street.
When you see how elderly people who did have kids are treated right now, it’s really scary to think how it will be when there are even more as Baby Boomers, Gen X start to age out. Even more unsettling when Millennials and Zoomers that are largely single and childless start to age.11 Reply
+1 yLol I guess it is true what they say. Nothing makes a woman angrier than a man happy alone. They don't care because that is how guys are. We spend most of our life handling all problems alone. So why would we waste time, money, energy on women especially women that claim those men are "passed there expiry date". Small bit of biological fact for you though. Of the 2 genders women are the ones with an expiration date. Women are born with a specific number of eggs and they only have periods for around 40 years. Men can get women pregnant until the day they die.
22 Reply- +1 y
The true reason why a lot of men are happier alone can be traced to how you acted in your question. Men don't want someone like that. Men want a woman that is feminine, soft, kind, doesn't make him feel like the only thing standing in the way of her happiness is him etc. And saying some childish silliness like "it's not fair to see men enjoying life" is precisely why a lot of men would rather be alone. That is a very poor and hateful attitude to have towards an entire gender especially one that you seem to feel should be in relationships with women.
+1 yMaybe they're just in denial about it, or scared to be seen as weak? Cuz yeah u need people around u. Even if it's not spouse & Kids, u need somebody. Having friends or somebody to socialize with is the biggest thing as an older adult, it even makes u live longer & lowers risk for diseases
A lot of people b4 they die will reach a point where they can't do many things they used to, & may need help with some day to day shit. In that scenario having even just friends who don't mind to stop by to visit & just check up on u can make the difference between keeping or losing ur independence. Even if u aren't scared of dying alone, you may not have a choice in the end. & I'd rather die around people I care about than strangers.

@AnusNdaPainus oh yeah totally. 🙄 bro I was a caretaker back in hs, and I work at a facility now. What do u think happens to ur body when u work harder? It wears down faster. U get fucking sawdust in ur lungs & fucked up hands & joints. U have tenitus. U have metal hips & half a dozen heart attacks under ur belt. Men don't drop dead from hard work, they go home & they can't fucking get in the bathtub on their own. If u personally are more fulfilled by hard work then great, more power to you, but don't expect to have perfect health from that shit. Take care of ur body & ur mind. You aren't superhuman, and no humans are designed to work for their whole life, especially hard work. If ur not careful that'll fuck u up twice as fast.

I've seen men who've worked from 7 to fucking 70, & trust me, there are several steps between that & dying. Do u think men don't retire? Do u think men don't go home at the end of the day? Man are u okay are u being held prisoner by ur boss or some shit? Ur idea of what a human man body is capable of is not even remotely plausible. I gotta believe ur just trolling me at this point. U can't seriously think ur gonna build concrete bridges for 70 years & then ur heart explodes & u die instantly. U don't even think u'll die in like a hospital, with nurses & doctor around u? U think ull go in literal less than a second b4 even ur coworkers can get to ur side? That's so fucking unlikely man, i hate to break it to u...

@AnusNdaPainus @GOLDFISH_smile. There is truth in both of your points. But I got news for you, @AnusNdaPainus, if you didn’t already know. +1 yI imagine women appear to struggle with that idea more, because they are more visible to society, until they're not; they're given constant reassurance and hope in the form of validation by bachelors. Well some of those bachelors, for their own reasons give up on the chase and instead make peace with the idea of dying alone. So, fast forward 20 years, most men and women have settled down. However, the women that are single are faced with less attention from similarly aged bachelors; realization that they might die alone hits, but for men this feeling hit in their 20s.
11 ReplyIt seems like those men are happy and doing well, as in they have things going for them... Yet you think they are expired because they don't want to date women that have anxiety issues are generally unhappy and have nothing going for them. 11 Reply400 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. After having gone through a horrible long marriage, I found myself single in my forties. A lot of people who didn’t know the whole story judged me and I lost many friends. However, I finally found peace. I was very happy being on my own. This didn’t mean I did not want a woman in my life, but it is better being in no relationship than a bad relationship. Also, I think a man who is content with his life on his own is more attractive to women than a man who can’t be happy on his own. Women sense desperation a mile away and tend to hate it. Fortunately, I found the woman of my dreams and don’t have to be alone.
10 Reply322 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Probably because the majority of men have always been 'alone' (If you don't believe me poll the guys you work with), we do not see death as scary, but we don't want to run towards it. We treat death like death is portrayed in Terry Prattchet's Discworld books.
As for being 'appreciative of women that show interest in them when these men are clearly passed their expiry date' women come with more baggage than men want to have to deal with, and we are not beyond our expiry date as we can still be fathering children into our 60's

Eventually decided to put myself back out there and was falsely accused with a PPO and had to take her to court where all I could do was slap myself with civil temporary restraining order. I then gave up in women completely. I’ve turned down 4 women who have shown interest in me. I am now so content with the single lifestyle, I can’t fathom having a relationship. It would be far too unhealthy.

+1 yTwo questions for you:
1) why do you frankly care, when you're a woman? Because I thought women didn't give a shit about men.
2) did you ever think those men are content with their lives, don't need women to feel validated like women do, and are busy with other things?
Most men also realize that the majority of women would rather see them die than help them get back on their horse after they've fallen down. We know you women don't care that much about us.12 Reply- +1 y
1. It's an interest-based caring: middle-aged women show caring towards men, showing these men acceptance despite the fact that these men now have wrinkles, and the women hope that these men will reciprocate and accept them as well, despite their recent wrinkles.
2. Yup, I have considered the fact that as long as a woman is not pretty enough, a middle-aged man is fine just being absorbed in boring work and living alone. If a woman is pretty, THEN he'll start feeling lonely and insecure (if she doesn't like him back, which is highly unlikely even despite his ugly frown wrinkles, as he is typically nicer to HER than he is to older women, even though the older women show him more caring and consideration). - +1 y
@Bethany22:

No it doesn't. Older men "can" sometimes be infertile but older women always are and there's no correlation with birth defects as with older women.

+1 yI think the premise of your question is accurate. And its a good question. I think men are generally more independent than women. I think most of these behaviors come from their respective family roles. Men provide and protect. That means they can generally fend for themselves. Women want a man to provide and protect so they are more dependent on a partnership. That may explain it.
As to what you can do about it. Not much. Nature doesn't care about fairness.

Some truths are harder to accept than others.
+1 yI think men in the age bracket in which you are speaking of, which I am part of, don't have a problem being single if their wife leaves them or passes away because they can handle all of the day to day chores and tasks of life.
It is likely they'll have jobs, whether they were the main breadwinner or not. Most of them likely miss some of the independence they had before marriage and don't want to invest more energy into dating again. I would focus on being a father, and likely not date again if something were to occur with my marriage, or if my wife passed. I don't have a good response for your question regarding appreciation. You just have to find the right guy who is still wanting a relationship at that age.
04 Reply- +1 y
I don't find women controlling. When you are dating someone and then get married, you should be focusing attention on the relationship more than simply taking care of yourself. That's what both partners should do for each other, but sometimes that can be a challenge. Add kids and new groups of friends into the mix and you have a very busy life. And I love my family and those that I have been surrounded with, but I also really enjoy having some of my own space from time to time. Most days it's just a dog walk, but every so often I get a complete free day to do what I want and I thoroughly enjoy that.

As far as dying alone, it hasn't ever been a worry of mine, although most individuals, do want to be missed on some level :-)
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yFirst because everyone dies alone. Second because men aren't ruled by fear the way women are because men have abundant testosterone. And lastly although it's practically Taboo to say this now... men and women are just wired differently. We evolved to do different things. Men to go out and hunt dangerous food. Women to sit and pick berries and nurture kids.

+1 yThe answer is obvious, women just don't like it. Male value is not tied to youth the way female value is. A middle age man typical is near the peak of his net earning potential and has the resources to begin a family whenever he wants to. Biologically that's more difficult for a woman to do not to mention viable options will be reduced the older you get. This doesn't even factor in the female need to be around, while most men can find peace alone in a quiet room.
12 Reply- +1 y
Yeah I think my question was more of a rhetorical question that wishes men's value decreases at the same rate as women's, but I was hoping to get some solutions for dealing with the fact that while women don't have a choice in the way they look, men do have a choice in which job they choose. Sure, men may stick to low paying jobs because of self-esteem issues, but self esteem does not have an affect on a girl's born attractiveness. What will just wind up happening is an attractive girl wears sweatpants/sweatshirt and dates a factory worker.

@Bethany22 Yes, I realize this which is why I stated that my answer is obvious. Do you honestly believe you're the first woman to ask this question? Woman search for equality in an unequal world, but only truly want that equality if it benifits them. Male attractive metrics are one of those things that dont and I can promise you that there are plenty spiteful women out there that feel the sane way u do. Part of the reason it's so triggering is because you've herd these things b4, and like most women have probably argued for arguments sake, unfortunately I'm real life this is an accurate fear so when women face it head own they become frustrated as you have so eloquently articulated.

I'm talking about women 60 and older, friends of my parents and such.

+1 yYour not going to. If a man has reached that point, he is secure in his life and his lifestyle. He won't give two thoughts to what YOU want or think HE should want.
For reference, I am 56. Retired earlier this year very.. comfortably and a full 10 years ahead of schedule thanks to smart investments. I live my life the way I want to live it. I am not interested in anything long term and have no interest in needing to be part of someone else's life plan.
I have hobbies I enjoy and plans for the future and am no where near an expiration date unless something happens that I have no control over.
So question to you is, Why would I need to bring someone into my life that will likely bring nothing but drama and or demands where none exists now? There is NOTHING she can offer me besides the occasional physical benefit that can be satisfied with a friends with benefits casual date. So why?

During this period, factors like muscle strength, cardiovascular endurance, and overall fitness may be at their peak. Early 30s to Mid. And men are most attractive to opposite gender in mid 30

As a middle-aged man who technically died in 2020 alone in ICU thanks to Covid rules I'd like to say I don't care who you are, if you're not bothered about not getting the chance to tell your loved ones what they mean to you before you leave this world then you're lying to yourself.
The moment I felt my heart stop I broke inside because there wasn't one person there I loved. Two weeks later I woke up from the coma to be told that part wasn't a dream.
Don't misunderstand me. I'm not afraid of what's waiting for me. The twinkle in Gandalf's eye when he tells Pippin death isn't the end is beautifully poignant to me.
The thought of not being able to communicate that I'm at peace as I leave to those I'm leaving is a different matter. When I do go through that door I either want everyone I love to be on the other side waiting for me, or I want them holding my hand so I can comfort them.10 Reply

+1 yMen need to have a fight for survival mind set. I don’t think women understand how much bullshit and hurt guys go through. When a guy goes through numerous rejections or breakups, guys don’t really care for other guys. I think it’s also that men and guys tend to give up on women and girls. Because for me, I’ve been going to sporting events, going to the movies, going shopping, heck even gone to restaurants alone. I’m in my 30s now and it’s tough to meet young women. I just feel like women have super high expectations in guys/men. Women tend to knit pick more so now I’m like okay whatever fuck it may as well just focus on myself.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yactually you're wrong. I see plenty of desperate guys in their mid 30s to 40 looking to settle down. Its worse to die alone as a man than as a woman. Single women can have kids. Single men can't have kids without a wife. So there is much more pressure to men finding wives than vice versa. You will never be able to have children without a wife. The older a man gets, the less he appeals to young fertile women. Vast majority of young women under 35 really aren't looking for a man in his 40s-60s.

Nope guys don't need emotional support or stimulation to the same extent as women
And hookup culture helps a lot for guys - +1 y
Way worse to die alone as a woman. For the most part men if they do the work can live a similar life from about 30-70 for women it becomes drastically different.
Opinion Owner+1 y@ColinPeters
That rarely ever happens. The only times when it happens is in one night stands where the guy doesn't want the kid and is not in the childs life. This usually happens when the guy is rather young
Opinion Owner+1 y@Vegasrunner
Men are more likely to die alone without kids / family than women
Opinion Owner+1 y@SUMAIREBRAHIM
Just wait till you get old, you will die all alone lonely and neglected. Men are more likely to die this way than women
Opinion Owner+1 y@ColinPeters
Its rare. And usually when this happens, its usually a young guy who doesn't want the kids.- +1 y
Nope 😂😂not gonna happen 😂😂
Check population, stats and data
Demand supply even if I'm 40 I can still get young 🌱 girls around 18-22 and settle unlike girls
Things I need to command that i already have
Opinion Owner+1 y@SUMAIREBRAHIM
and what sort of data supports that young girls 18-22 are marrying guys 20 years older?
there is no proof that supports this. But there is evidence that women tend to marry men 4 years older on average.
you're just scared of the truth.

Opinion owner, A man does not need to marry a women to have kids
Opinion Owner+1 y@Vegasrunner
statistically, a man's reproductive value decreases as he ages. Historically, vast majority of men have all their kids prior to 40. There is an evolutionary reason for this, older men tend to have less healthy offspring
Opinion Owner+1 y@Vegasrunner
just cuz an old man can still have kids, it doesn't mean he has a lot of women interested in having kids with him. women are evolutionally wired to seek healthiest sperm from young men.
Opinion Owner+1 y@Vegasrunner
[Opinion owner, A man does not need to marry a women to have kids]
no young woman wants a baby from a one night stand. women want marriage, commitment.- +1 y
- +1 y
TBH w/ you if you do the work as a man, the older you get the more options you will have. That's why so many successful men trade I'm their wives when they reach their peak.
Opinion Owner+1 y@Vegasrunner
the older a man gets, the less options he has.
this is why vast majority of young women tend to marry young men.
vast majority of men aren't successful either.
quit dreaming and realize that women won't be attracted to you as you get older.
Opinion Owner+1 y@Vegasrunner
[Same thing w/ health, when compared w/ a 40 yro woman men are exponentially more likely to have a healthy child]
millions of years of evolution of babies of older men dying is the reason why younger women tend to mate with younger men. Vast majority of men marry when they are under 40. Because women are more attracted to younger than older men.- +1 y
@Opinon Owner TY for sharing however I'm not sure what the relevance is. Did I mention something about a one night stand? Could you please submit a screenshot if I did so we all can see?
- +1 y
Opinion Owner+1 y@Vegasrunner
There is a reason why young women prefer younger men. Its because historically babies born to older men have died off. Women have been evolutionized to prefer young men over old. Rare exceptions don't matter. It is what women have been designed to do based on evolution.
Opinion Owner+1 y@Vegasrunner
If you take a look around, vast majority of men tend to reproduce prior to 40.

+1 yMother Nature's role for both men and women is to procreate. Women have a limited time to do that, from puberty to menopause, while men have an unlimited time, from puberty until their death.
Maybe a middle-aged woman is affected by her knowledge that her fertility is soon going to end, while a middle-aged man doesn't have that concern.
12 Reply- +1 y
Yeah, but ideally women can snap them into fearing the same things. I mean, technically, sperm quality decreases as men age. But for some reason men aren't hard-wired to be concerned about that. In fact, women aren't really hard-wired to know that THEY have an expiry-date, it's something that's been equally scientifically proven as sperm quality, it's just that sperm quality isn't talked about as much as egg quality as the years go by.
- +1 y
@Bethany22 It's all about numbers and probability. As men and women age...
What is the probability that the woman's one egg per month is capable of being fertilized and producing a healthy fetus?
Now, compare that the the man. What is the probability that at least some of his millions of sperm produced every day is top quality, capable of fertilizing an egg?
809 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. So your problem is that men dobt have a need for constant validation?
Why is that unfair? Its not mens fault women stress out over this.
And why do men need to appreciate women over this. Its literaly not their problem
11 ReplyHuh! Amazing how the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence! Cuz I would have said the opposite of you! Middle-aged women seem carefree and happier to me, while guys, like myself, are worried about dying alone. Guys just don't talk about it!

+1 yWell, men are raised differently than women. We were taught to be tough and not to show as much emotions as women do. So when a guy gets to his middle age he's practically accepted his life the way it is. A man learns to expect nothing from nobody because when you expect something from somebody you might end up being disappointed. The men you refer to probably have been disappointed many times that's why they do not show as much emotion to your interest. I'm sure they appreciate what you do, they just don't want to end up being hurt again. We know there's many ways to be happy and everybody wants to be happy. Like the last goes...(life is how you make it)

Women don't worry about it when they're in their 20s. It's after that age when they begin to fret.
Men on the other hand worry about it in their 20s, and less so after that.

+1 yI resigned myself to the idea when I was 25, when I read an article about identifying with the body versus identifying with soul. So, when younger I identified with the physical body. "I am this body." After some years, and after reading a 1000 different books from dozens of genres, I now identify with the soul. By Identifying with the soul as "me," when my body dies, it is like peeling a tasty orange. Sure, the peeling is in the trash (body dead), but that sweet tasty juicy orange (soul) remains, and ready for another adventure - to be the sustenance of another. No better life can be lived as the one lived in the service and pleasure of others.
Now, I want to go watch "Soul Man."

It is. You should judge men on their attitudes towards those biological conditionings..
For instance, menopause does not make my mother less valuable. She’s crying out and both I and my father have answered the call. I will continue to do so.
I left a note in the visitor’s log at my grandmother’s burial site:
“If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be here to say I miss you.”
When we care for each other in this manner, to feel loved unconditionally and accepted, biological inconveniences become almost meaningless.

Appearances and money might affect chances with a particular person.
But it doesn't mean one has to stay single. If they want they can date from their league.
Why do you care? Lots of women slightly older than me when approached, they just make up excuses because they know they can get a guy. If a man feels needy he is considered weak by the very women. So, what's the point of chasing someone who isn't going to reciprocate!
