It has never concerned me. The difference is not enough to even think about.
Most people think about life expectancy from birth. This includes a lot of men dying at a young age, often due to violence, risky behavior and risky occupations. As people get older and get past those higher risk years, the difference between men and women decreases.
At my age the difference is only a couple of years. Life choices make far more difference than those couple of years. Eat right, get exercise, don't smoke or drink, etc. Men are more likely to drink heavily, and far more likely to smoke. Men are also more likely to be overweight. Women are more likely to go to the doctor.
Eliminate those type of life choices, and the gap between men and women decrease even more. If you eliminate all life choices, I don't know if there is any gap at all. But whatever gap remains, it's not significant enough to worry about.
I'm old enough to know that when it hits, it hits. It's seemingly random and unpredictable. Except with obvious high risk cases like smoking, heavy drinking, lack of exercise and obesity, there is NO noticeable difference between men and women.

It wouldn't bother me as much if men still had respect and authority in our society, but in today's gynocentric world I wouldn't do a dirty or dangerous job to upkeep a society that hates me. These strong independent women can haul their own garbage, treat their own sewage, dig their own ditches, fix their own power lines, and mine their own coal.
No, I hope they all do. All of them.
I have a great distaste for all men.
The hideous ones are the obsessed with women and sex. And the Hot Ones, are literal dogs unfaithful to everyone.
The hideous ones want to be dogs, the hot ones are all dogs. The the undesirables want to be Chads. And the Chads are dogs.
there's no helping any of them and their complete narcissism and entitlement. Every last one, of them.
The “nice” ones only know how to hide their narcissism. They’re still narcissistic at the end of the day.
Men are the sole perpetrators of r—pe, pedophilia, zoophilia, molestation, sexual harassment, kidnapping, Stalking, murder, abuse of any kind, crimes, drug use, drug crimes. Cheating. Violence. And the list can go on.
Women are less likely to cause any of this. BY STUDIES. They do cause these. But wayyy less.
The faster men die the better the world gets. The more the world heals. And I suggest to breed all men out. As soon as the doctors tell you that you’ll birth a male. ABORT.
It’s sad because people die all the time

No it bothers me how unloved and replacable we are. Within days of the funeral possibly sooner, the woman will seek comfort and love from another man. We get sent to war to die we get evicted from our homes post divorce or separation and have to rebuild from scratch. Everything we own is exploited or taken from us
It sometimes bothers me to know that I will most likely be left alone in my old age (my husband is only 1 year older). But then I think about the fact that women cope a lot better than men at being alone, especially in old age... and then I think it's better this way. It'd be much worse for him to be left alone because men don't have such close bonds with their children and grandchildren so it's better that he's less likely to experience such loneliness. But that's also one of the reasons why I never wanted a partner that's older than me by more than 5 years.
No. I'm happy I will die earlier. All that matters is accomplishing what I want in life before I go. I've done that already. A good life is not measured by how long you live, but what you do while alive.
I survived a ghetto environment as a white boy. I survived being mentally abused as a military dependent. I survived the military itself. I accomplished a lot in the military and as a Correction's Officer. I'm happy with what I've achieved and do not have a goal to work towards anymore. So I'm happy with what I've done in my short life.
It bothers me that it's just accepted, and there is no real effort to address the high suicide rate among men, which is one of the biggest factors, and heart disease, which is also a significant factor (men are 50% more likely than women to die of heart disease). Instead, the most common message we here is that women's health concerns are underrepresented in medicine? Seriously?
Men also do more dangerous jobs, and far outnumber women in some of the riskiest occupations, including military combat, firefighting, and working at construction sites. But we hear very little about that. Instead, the focus is on the so called "gender pay gap". Seriously?
Anyone who actually believes we live in a patriarchy is a fool. And apparently, me pointing these things out makes me a "misogynist".
Oof. I did not expect those results.
I was being completely honest when I voted "no" that it doesn't bother me.
I guess we just grow up learning to accept it.Yes it does more so worrisome than bother because it potentially means I’ll be without a father faster and without a husband sooner
I prefer not to think of that and just advise all who know me to stay healthy and make good choices. If you die fast then let it be just to bad luck.
This has way too many responses for me to read all of them before I post, so I don't know whether I'm just repeating what has already been said, but my answer is pretty much negative. It doesn't bother me too much knowing that men die sooner than women. Either women could live longer than men, men could live longer than men, or longevity for each one could be the same. If it has to be one of those, I would prefer it that women live longer. It's not that surprising that that winds up being the case. A lot of us men do stupid stuff, especially when we're young. "To the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure."
I am fine with it. Living long can be painful. If my works are completed, I am fine with dying. Most men understand from a very young age that they are unloved and replaceable unless without money. After working your whole life to provide for others' comfort... your soul gets tired when living gets tiring.
Depends greatly on the guy , that stat is simply the average and the gap is closing , as women are more involved in the business world..
Those of us who are conscious of being the correct weight , exercise , having annual checks , getting enough sleep , this will be a different scenario , completely different , stress is the biggest killer , and being an incorrect weight , slender people live much longer , thats a fact.
lol of course the first preview of a reply I see before clicking on this question is by a woman who blocked me who says they hate men.
I'm sure you guys can figure out who it is.
Nope because that's how we are programmed, we can't blame our genes and testosterones, it's like just 5 years between both, a little less or a little more!
These days the society and it's rules are pressuring men too much which means more stress and depression which ends in an earlier death! No but I have noticed in my life the old women that survive their husbands seem to appreciate their husbands more after they're gone. That makes me a little sad. What I've witnessed is anecdotal but I do wonder if that happens more often than we realize. Something to think about for sure.
I don't really think about it. it's just a bit sad that politicians don't care. no one is really interested in the men at the bottom. A man means something if he is at the top or going to the top. but this is the way we live and it won't change, at least not too soon. Politicians don't care about men, that's why men have to be tough and cope on their own, some people do well, others get worse.
Living longer is overrated. The longer you live the more family members and friends you'll see die. I've already lost two best friends and both parents. I'd rather live a short life that was memorable and worthy.
Damn, even @SlutSaverVulture can't help you here. I guess we all are going to become soil. Then acorns 🌰 grow out of us. Eaten by wildlife.. which means eventually we all turn into @_pig_droppings_ .
Men die because of ilnesses such as cancer, hearth disease, heart attack. Because society doesn't care mens health and mens rights. The survey shows this too. Especially women dont care mens issues and they even want men to die. We need to destroy feminism and misandry
Honestly, given everything I know about gender and how segregated we are and how differently men and women are raised, it’s sad that men end up with shorter life expectancies but not so sad as to make me want to change that (not that I could 🤷🏼♀️)
No because most of the difference is guys who life fast and die young. The older you get as a man your life expectancy keeps going up. So if you're 70 or 80 it doesn't mean you're gonna die soon.
It is due to more stress in life, often from more responsibilities, expectations, and unfair treatment, plus taking more dangerous jobs that causes that statistic.
I take care of the men in my life to regularly visit doctor, do needed vheckes and align to recommendations.
I don't need the protector or provider I need a lifetime partner. Healthy and alive
