Trending & News Say you asked him "why do you like me"? And he responded "because you're pretty".

It's not offensive or great to hear. It's a compliment, but it's just superficial, that like isn't really a big like, it doesn't go pretty far, so it's kind of worthless. But it's still a compliment.
If that's the only reason he's dating me, I'd get real fckin offended 💀
Right on.

well what else should we say? the thing that encourages us into a relationship is looks and the possibility of sexual encounters, we enter into it hoping we will get some action with that fine ass and end up commiting if we like the girl, it's like a wolf approaching to a lamb hoping to eat it but end up getting attached to it
This is true.
I'd be very happy if a guy I liked to told me I was pretty. I would not be very happy if he told me he liked me *because* I'm pretty. That's two very different things.
Exactly π―!!
Don't women want to their partners to think they are attractive, pretty, lovely, sexy, adorable, irresistible? I know that's the first thing that attracts me to a potential partner. And I want her to think I'm sexy, too.
After that, of course, there are other considerations such as mannerisms, intellect, personality, character, etc. But it's easy to say you like her because she is pretty, as opposed to listing those individual traits.
Of course but if someone asks the reason you like them meaning want to date them or be in a relationship with them and the answer is how you look... that's wack.
I think there are far prettier girls if thatβs the only thing he appreciates.
Exactly, right.
I've been complimented a few times and approached by men many times. I truly appreciate it sometimes i get scared when they come up to me but i dont be a bitch about it. I say thank you and smile. 😊 I appreciate their honesty and it makes me feel good! I don't know why some girls would act bitchy about it.
Are they approaching you with some sort of weapon?
I feel that if we are in an actual relationship he should like something deeper about me.
I won't blame the women who find it offensive
Why stop at pretty?
That's my entire point.
Why would I be upset?
Because women are more than just their appearance. How can you have a meaningful connection who selects partners only for their looks.
Oh I wasn't clear. The guy wants a relationship
I asked a guy and he said he liked me and thought I had a super beautiful face. I was in utter shock 😲
My heart started pumping fast.
It would depends if he knows you already or not.
Yes, they know each other.
If he wants to have a relationship with any woman it should be something a lot deeper. Like he wants a connection because he thinks you're special, personally.
And vice versa. Woman who wants to be with a man. I said to him "that's it?" Then I said, "there are pretty girls everywhere." And I pointed around because there were pretty girls around. I mean women are pretty much all beautiful in some way. Then he said "no no no it's not the same."
If "it's not the same" ask him why it's different.
He's not good at expressing himself verbally. I see he's got it bad in the eyes but he's such an ass.
I would maybe look elsewhere if he gets on your nerves all the time (like I would).
No he doesn't get on my nerves at all because I don't tolerate his BS. I don't understand why he keeps coming back and blowing up my phone.
He will get pissed then cut off people expecting them to chase him. I just go silent. When turned up again I asked him point blank if he is suffering from some sort of emotional or mental instability.
(Something is going on.)
He said "he's fine". So I said then I can't even make an excuse for you. You are just childish and disrespectful.
Then he wants to see me. I said no because why should he get to see me and spend time with me if he is rude and egotistical.
I just do me.
