Is it wrong for a single 37 mom to meet up with a guy 10 years younger than her?

This guy randomly sent me a friend's request, however I didn't accept it at first because I am very weary about adding people. I decided to message him asking who he was, and over the past few days we have been talking. He comes across as a friendly guy, however he asked me if I would like to meet sometime, he even he told me I could bring my baby along if I wanted to, but finding out I am 10 years older. I am not sure if this is wrong or if I should be on my guard.

I did take days to accept his friends request as I wanted to be sure he wasn't some fake person.

To be honest I see little harm to meet. But in a safe public place. Neutral place. Have a chat and get a better understanding about him. Of course do not bring your child lol That comment although strange was maybe a unwise attempt on his part to seem open and flexible to you being a mom.

I have no friends and no family so I have absolutely no one who can watch my baby for me. I haven't said yes to meeting him because i didn't know if a 10 year age gap was weird or not.

Or even just talking with someone younger, but I would definitely meet in a public place. Learnt my lesson the hard way, meeting a guy alone and he forced himself on to me. Never again. Thank you

There are so many fake people out there. One big red flag for me would be. He said you could bring the kid. Nobody should meet your child until you feel comfortable.

Thank you. That didn't even cross my mine as being a red flag when he told me to bring my baby a long. I was too focused on wondering if he was fake or not and if it would be weird talking or even meeting someone who is 10 years younger than me.

I see nothing wrong with it. Dad was 10 years older than mom. My last potential girlfriend had two kids, she was about to turn 35 and I just turned 53. We DID wanna get married and have kids together but, distance kept that from happening.

I don't know. I've never had this happen before. I've never been someone who guys have ever really been interested in and it's been well over a year since I was last involved with anyone. I have never had anyone who is 10 years young interested so I didn't know if the age gap would be weird or not
