I wouldn't be off as long as is an Family Emergency, but if is like Mom "keeping tabs on you" then Yeah, as you will Live with me, not with ur Mom, we are a couple but if it sounds that you're still "momma's girl" then between us i'm sure it won't work, as All this "keeping tabs" it will become Toxic for both of us. Imagine we are in a Holiday and ur mom is calling you (in the middle of it) to come home urgently (but she doesn't want to say it over the phone), you get home and all the "explanation" you get is: "i had a feeling and got worried"... like Really? I would be Fuming!
