Why does this guy keep adding me on social media, is he trying to get my attention?

This guy I go to school with has repeatedly friended me on social media, across different platforms. Initially I didn’t think much of it, but it continued and I honestly don’t know what I’m supposed to think about it. He added me on BeReal, Snapchat, and Instagram (although I know for certain we’ve been following each other for at least a year, he must’ve unfollowed and refollowed me?) I thought he was maybe trying to give me a hint or something so sent him a snap and he’s never even opened it, so I don’t know what he’s doing, at this point it’s just annoying.

Any clue what his deal is? We’ve never spoken before so it’s just weirding me out

I think you're right that he is trying to drop a hint. Maybe he is the really shy type and this is his way of flirting with you are getting your attention. I can't see any other reason why someone would constantly do that. I also agree at this point it is getting creepy that he's seeking out any social media he can find you on. If it were me I would make my accounts private. That will send a message to him that you aren't interested. Maybe you already did that. If so then start blocking him.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but I don’t get why guy vibes from him. He’s very attractive and seems popular. Most of his friends are female. If he does something else I’ll call him out on it but yeah blocking is my next go to probably 😅
