Why is he so tempermental with me?

so this boy im friends with in school can be nice but i noticed when we get to close friends he starts being really moody and then i stay distant and only talk a little he's not moody and nicer... but I've made sure to just not talk to him now he has been looking and staring at me with a sad look like he wants to talk i really dk anymore pls try explain this thanks

Sounds like this dude has some issues expressing his feelings clearly, ya know? When you guys get close, he probably starts catching feelings but doesn't know how to handle it.

So instead of being honest about liking you, he tries to push you away by acting all moody and annoyed. It's like a defense mechanism for him cause he's afraid of getting hurt.

But deep down I bet he does wanna be around you and talk lots. That's why when you give him space, he gets sad and stares over at you longingly.

Boys can be so confusing sometimes with all the mixed signals!

If I were you, I'd try opening up to him real casual. Say something like "you seem down lately, wanna grab a snack and vent?" See if you can get him to open up.

Reassure him you still wanna be mates no matter what. With time and trust, hopefully he'll learn to share his feelings better. But go at his pace - don't wanna scare him off either!

Keep me posted how it goes. Fingers crossed he comes around, you guys could be cute together!
