Guys what does it mean when my boyfriend told me he doesn't deserve me?

since he started college he became busy, our conversation on phone becomes less and less. then he said he dont deserve me and i deserve better, i dont understand, what does he mean? and how can i remove that from his head? i don't understand him

i wanted to but its so hard, he is so nice and kind to me and were 4yrs now

it’s hard to know for sure, but to keep yourself from feeling confused, i would basically just take it as he’s not into you and probably making an excuse. maybe he does really admire you as a person though.

I could be wrong and I hope I am but it sounds like he wants you to find someone else because he wants to end the relationship
