I was having a discussion with a guy about maturity and who matures faster, boys or girls. The guy claimed boys mature faster and shown me one source claiming boys finish puberty sooner.

I disagreed saying there are far more sources claiming the opposite that girls mature faster, and he called me an idiot and laughed at me.
