So I just delivered twins and one of them passed away, when me and the dad gets upset at one another and argue he takes the ashes and tell me that isn’t my son.

I wouldn't over thinking the situation, everyone has different ways of grieving, even though you might not agree with the way, they are behaving.

He probably said it, because he doesn't want to acknowledge the pain of losing a child. He probably is so grief striken about the situation, I don't think, he even realises what he is saying.

People will do and say all sorts of stupids things, when under these circumstances. I would take it with a pinch of salt, because of the circumstances.

The only way both of you are going to get through this, is have each others backs, you have a lot deal with. Fighting and arguing is only going to make the healing process worst, I would suggest both support each during this difficult time.

No it's not weird, it's fuckin insane! I don't know wtf kind of special kind of asshole he is, but right now it sounds like both of you need grief counseling. Either he's crazy af or his grief is on a whole new level and he's not dealing with it
