i met a guy at a party a few days a go , and we vibed a lot and he asked me out on a date and it's gonna be my first date! We are going to an outdoor cinema, not sure what his intentions are as of yet but my friend said he's a genuine guy so hopefully he is a good guy and has gold intentions would be have good intentions after just meeting once

Your friend saying he's a genuine guy is also a good thing to hear. And the fact that he's taking you somewhere kinda lowkey and chill like an outdoor movie makes it seem less like just a hookup thing. He probably wants to actually chat and get to know you.

You will only know afterward but for now enjoy going out , not just him, enjoy going out in general. Since he is going to be alone with you , he is as vulnerable as you are. Don't settle down , see where he goes with this and not where it goes. Good men aren't forward , they are just as nervous and unsure as you are but they are willing to spend time with one person and they are tuned into one girl only. You will know if that girl is you and if you don't then you can assume that he is not that into you because guys cannot hide genuine feelings like that even if they tried.
