Should I go on a date with him?

So there's this guy who talks really genuinely but my gut feeling says that he's a red flag, he himself accepts that.
I've been talking to him for months and recently I asked him on a date, more of a casual meet-up. Should I go?
PS: i am not looking for a serious relationship with him.
