Does Secretly looking at someone indicate curiosity/attraction?

I have a huge crush on this guy. I’ve caught him looking at me a few times, and when our eyes meet, he quickly looks away /turns around or starts doing something. When this happens I can’t help myself but turn around and smile like a little child ))) Could this secret glances indicate some level of interest, or am I completely delusional about this?🥴😀

Well, just because a dude stares or glances at somebody that does not necessarily mean he might be attracted to her. There has been definitely many at times in my life I've stared at people that I wasn't attracted to trying to figure them out like why would they do a certain something to themselves. Like looking at them and discust. I mean sometimes I stare at a fat dude in wonder as to why and how he got his breasts bigger than his wife's. Or, if some woman did some beauty parlor bullshit, and you wonder why she's doing that to herself to make herself look ugly, sometimes you look at people trying to figure them out.

So, just glancing occasionally at someone doesn't necessarily mean attraction. Some of it might depend on if he smiles back at you when you smile to him. If he is not, then that might mean he doesn't like you in that way. If he does then he should give some sort of sign. I mean if somebody smiles to me and she's a female and she's got a beautiful smile at least, I'm definitely going to smile back I might even wink. And, depending on the circumstance I might say something.
but him looking down at something right after the eye contact, some of it could mean maybe he's not confident enough. And then that means you need to make a move. I wouldn't worry about being rejected because I guarantee you men get rejected way more than women do. And women can find anything that they want a lot easier than a man can. So, if you really want him I would just make the move, and if he accepts you great. If he rejects you or well move on to somebody else. There's plenty of worthy guys out here beckoning to be with a hottie if you're a hottie. But, that's got to be a head to toe hottie like also in the mind the spirit and not necessarily only the body. So it's a combination of things that makes a hottie a hottie.

And, if it is a confidence issue with him, and you do at least care about him. You can actually help fix one of his mental disorders right now. I know exactly what it was like to not be confident. I remember those days. They didn't last long. Because then I got very confident. But, now I'm getting more discouraged versus not confident. But I'm getting more discouraged because there's no women out here willing to give a man a try especially if he is usually what every girl is looking for. So, I definitely do think women need to stop procrastinating and make some moves.

When you smile at him and he turns away real quick, that's a dead giveaway he's shy. Like he digs what he sees but doesn't wanna make it obvious.

My girl used to have this one guy always sneakin' peeks at her from across the hall in math class. Every time their eyes met he'd blush and fumble his pencil or some shit. Now they married with two kids!

I'd say next time you catch him peepin', hold the eye contact a little longer before you grin. Maybe wink or wave, get him to come talk to you after. Make the first move if you gotta - dudes love a confident girl!

Aw that's so cute that you smile when you turn away from him! And I'm really glad my reply gave you a confidence boost, that's awesome. Yeah don't worry, I wouldn't smile directly at him yet either if he's being shy. Smiling to yourself is a good way to let off some excitement without putting him on the spot. But you're right, next time would be good to give him a little smile and wave so he knows you're friendly. Even just making eye contact and smiling quickly before looking away could work. Baby steps so he doesn't freak out haha. Just do what feels natural in the moment. You never know, that little smile could really make his day and encourage him to come chat with you. I think you've got a good chance of him liking you back, so be excited! You got this :)
