Hi, what does it mean if a guy, you just recently met (can't say he's a friend yet), is sending you random clips or updates about him?

Going to need more context but probably to get your attention would be my first guess. Is he sending them through social media or? Did you just recently start following the guy? How do you know him? There are a lot of questions I have that might give me a better chance at figuring out what his intentions are but at first glance I am going to say he is trying to get your attention and is hoping that these "updates" are going to generate a conversation where you get to know each other more. That is my first thought from the limited info I have to go off of.

Hello! He is my co-coworker. And I am just a newbie in our company. We started hanging out since December because of some activities (work related) and he even invited me to spend new year with his family. And since then he will always send me random clips, pictures, and updates. I am thinking he is just being friendly? Because I am their new officemate, and living indepently. So maybe he's just trying to make me feel at ease?

At first a lot of what you describe does make me think he is trying to make you feel welcomed. The one thing that doesn't is the invitation to spend a holiday with his family. That is a big deal and something generally reserved for boyfriends/girlfriends/etc. At least where I am from that is the case so I have to wonder if he does have a thing for you.

I am also wondering why he did that? I accepted the invitation and spent welcoming 2024 with him and his family. I can say he is a nice guy, and he is really really fun to be with. He will always tell us jokes and I often caught him looking at me when I laugh.

Though he is not telling me anything, that's why I am getting confused. I dont want to assume either but yeah he is making me confused

I don't think you have to make an assumption at this point. I would just see how things develop. If he has a thing for you I do think at some point it is going to become pretty clear to you.

Oh, that's right. We are still getting to know each other and I want to enjoy each other's company first. We also had a deep talk during the holiday while drinking beer, so can I consider that as friends, already? I'm just glad that he can share some personal things about him, already. As according to him, he is very selective and filtered when it comes to being with other people. So, I guess he trusts me, already?

Yes I would definitely say he trusts you if he is picky about who he shares personal things with and has opened up to you. He might just be laying the groundwork to get to know you better and take things the next step which would be dating.
